Looking for a great trip or adventure for 2010? If you're not into sailing to seas on a cruise but still want a small taste of the ocean life, in April 2010, Dollywood (Dolly Parton's theme park in eastern Tennessee) will be opening the "Titanic" Museum.
Although it's only half the size of the ill-fated ship, once visitors get inside, they'll view real size reproductions of the Grand Staircase (where Jack and Rose met for dinner), Third-Class and First Class suites as well.
The company is already preparing it's grand opening this spring by advertising wedding and vow renewals by the captain at the Grand Staircase. How ironic.
The ship or ride also comes with some fun-filled aspects too. Guests will be able to test their balance by standing on small decks to feel the intense pressure and power of the Titanic as it sinks deeper into the ocean, but it's only a ride so no worries about going overboard.
This ride is also meant to be educational not just an over-the-top attraction. Upon entering the ship, you will receive a boarding pass with a passengers name where you find out what their fate was at the end of the ride. Within the galleries of the ship, actual artifacts that were removed from the ship or the wreckage are displayed to serve as a remembrance of those who died.
This sounds interesting and fun. Would you take this trip?

If it's similar to the Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri, it'll be great! (www.titanicbranson.com)

it was really cool, i loved it.We have one in NYC right now! It's right next to all the Broadway shows and stuff.
I've seen the billboards for this and I am so excited about going once it opens.
