Happy Wednesday TripCrazed! With Christmas upon us next week, I'm sure everyone is hustling and bustling for the perfect Christmas gift. In the midst of final examinations or preparing for graduation, the holiday season can be a bit overwhelming.
Especially, when all you want to do is travel. Sometimes, when you finish High school, you are unsure about your future. Many students take a year off to travel and find themselves. To see the world and perhaps in that journey, figure out what they want to study. It can open doors for them along the way as well.
Or, if you're stuck in a rut during your University studies, it is called a "Gap year" where travelers venture out during the middle of their studies. It's a little scary because you get the feeling you won't ever go back, or even begin at all. But, I think if you are determined enough, you can make it happen.
Travel in itself is a learning experience. Many people look back at their lives and wish they had seen so many beautiful things and had these life changing experiences. It's all about finding balance in the choices we make.
So, Would you travel after finishing school or squeeze it in if you had the chance? Or would you complete all your studies and then travel?

I completed my studies then I did all most of traveling. I did think about taking a year off before I started college, but decided to just plunge right into school.
I've been traveling since birth. I didn't wait until finishing school although I did travel MORE around the world after school because of the jobs that I have worked.
Who knows.
If I find myself a job, miraculously earned enough, and had a buddy to travel with, HECKS YES.. (:
I might delay the rest of my traveling until after I finish school, so yes.
I don't know whether it's so much a need for travel or just a change of scenery every once in a while. But I think I need for it to happen every couple of years. Now, later, and for the rest of my life.
I plan on traveling overseas when I'm finished with my post-bacc. work...which should be next year. I want to either go to Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, or the UK.
If u have the luxury of travelling after graduation.. GO FOR IT! At least while u are a (relatively) poor student now u can stay hostels, eat cheap and travel cheap and not feel miserable.
I worked right after graduation & travelled as i went along.... & as i age, i find it impossible to get back to travelling cheap. Not staying in nice hotels now makes holidays unpleasant. Wished i had a real backpacking experience before i went comfy & luxurious. :(
