    Sometimes when you go on trips and revel at the expensive things in the windows, it can be pretty depressing.  You want to bring home souvenirs and treasures for your home but you just can't do it. 

    Flea markets are a great way to buy items for you and friends without hurting your wallet.  But finding the best flea markets is an adventure in itself.  Here's a list of the world's greatest flea markets so you can find amazing gifts as well as travel to new destinations along the way.



    Brimfield Antique Show in Massachusetts (above)

    If your looking for antiques to dress up your cabinets, thousands of antiques found no where else are set up on a field for six days at this antique show.  Brimfield is an 18th-century town that holds this show three times a year, so if you're itching to grab some antiques, head up to Massachusetts to enjoy this one-of-a-kind show.

    Hell's Kitchen Flea Market in NYC

    NYC holds this flea market inside Manhattan's Antiques Garage where 100-plus vendors put their antiques up for display.  This two-floor garage show is where New York collectors come to show their stuff every weekend.

    Rose Bowl Flea Market in Pasadena

    While walking past celebrities, antiques are flooded at this five mile, 2,000 vendor antique show.  Beautiful weather and vintage clothing could be just enough to get me in So. California the second Sunday of every month.

    Mercat Gotic in Barcelona

    This outdoor flea market displays antique jewelry, old fashioned dolls and 1950's comics too.  Every Thursday at the Placa Nova, this massive 15th-century show encompasses the Catedral de Barcelona.

    Marche aux Puces de St.-Ouen in Paris

    This market accommodates nearly 2,500 dealers every weekend in Paris.  Antique furniture, chandeliers, and 20th-century French fashion magazines take up most of the displays where they could turn into great gifts for friends back home.

    Saturday is the only day the 1,000 plus dealers set out at this Central Gallery for where tourists can grab great bargains, but only if you're done by 9 a.m.  It's another great place to find souvenirs like fine antique jewelry and vintage clothes.

    Visitors can revel at the treasures found at this antique show where endless miles of sidewalk bargains are hiding.  Small accessories, cheap tin lanterns, vintage tables and more every weekend  at this flea market in Morocco.
