Today's travel deal is probably one you could afford even with the smallest allowance. Even though the entire world has an iPod and it can go anywhere, sometimes you don't want to risk bringing it everywhere.
You may not think it, but it is a valuable item. If you're visiting a foreign country, it might be seen as something a rich person would own. Someone might want to steal it or it can get lost during travel.
So we bring you the MP3 player that costs less than lunch! The
Evergreen DN-2000 is a frugal mp3 player for travelers who can risk an easy loss. The simple music player has no screen or memory, just buttons and an SD slot that holds up to 1GB of music. It runs on a AAA battery and costs only $8.50.
Would you buy this MP3 player? Are you scared to travel with an expensive media player?

I wouldn't buy this simply because the AAA batteries would cost too much over time.
My mp3 player only cost me $50 so no I'm not too worried about it. 8gb for $50 with a screen and rechargeable battery seems like a much better deal than this.
I might invest in this! It seems like a very cheap ipod shuffle. I wouldn't mind paying for a AAA battery to run it.
I actually bought my Ipod Touch FOR travel. It's like a portable computer, only without the bulk and expense of a computer, and it lasts longer battery-wise. I could also hide it better, so there's less chance of it being obvious that I"m walking around with a $400 gadget.
It is a nice thing for the frugal, but, I need something with a lot more space. I have over a week's worth of music on my computer. XD
Neat, I'd definitely take one as a backup option in case my main device got lost/nicked
