We keep seeing people we know on holiday
Every year, either my mom or dad usually spots someone they know at the airport in the UK, or even in the resort itself. This year, someone spotted my dad and said they knew him from somewhere. This happened in the hotel at lunchtime and it turns out his family stayed in the same hotel as we did last year.
What are the chances of this happening? What are the chances we meet again in October. Highly unlikely, but you never know.
I think it is cool that sometimes you see people you know on holiday, even though we did not book together or know where we were going.
Have you ever met someone you knew on holiday and didn't expect them to be there?

That's kinda weird... I've never experienced that. Normally when I go on vacation, it's someplace far away where it is very unlikely to run into anyone... and so I never see anyone I know (or my family knows) unless we specifically arrange to meet up.
Now, if it's going out to public places (store, park, etc.), then that happens all the time; granted, I live in smaller towns...
No, this is never actually happened to me. Haha. It would be pretty cool, though.
I went to Disneyland about a month ago and meet these two younger girls on the plane. We ended up meeting the next day in a resturant, and then the day after on one of the rides. I thought that was funny!
i ran into my roommate in vegas, lol.
Nope, not sure I'd like that too much, haha.
Oh yes, I met my boss while I was sunbathing on an island. Drat.
LOL something similar although I met the person in the plane down to DR. Then saw them at a resort later on, then again when flying back up!
I ran into two people I knew on two separate occasions at the Nashville airport one year. The first time, I was getting off a flight when I heard someone shouting my name. I thought it was my cousins, coming to pick me up or something, and then I realized it was a college buddy of mine and his fiancee. The second time, another college friend of mine was standing in front of me in security. I looked up, stared curiously at the back of his head, blinked, then called his name, and when he turned around we both had a look like, "NO WAY!" We ended up being on the same flight to Chicago, so we flew back together. Also, while studying in Spain, I met a guy I didn't know but who grew up fifteen minutes away from me my whole life. 'Tis a small, small world!
I think I've seen someone from my school at Disney World. When I was in Florence, Italy, one of the girls I was with saw her aunt there. Then, there was a guy wearing a shirt from a local hot dog place in Florence as well. It was really cool, and weird.
@eowynnabeeowyn@xanga - Weird how that happens :) It is a small world.
