  • TSA's response to Cartoon about 3-1-1

Anyone who has traveled on a plane knows how annoying the regulations are for liquid substances in your carry-on. This hilarious cartoon captures the feelings of many annoyed travelers. It is trying to compare the allowance of laptop batteries with a bottle of water.

But, you can always put clear liquid explosive in a bottle of water. It's not like inspectors are going to test every passengers water. It takes complicated tests to do so. This gives us something new to worry about!

    From the TSA blog:

"Why is 3.4 oz. and below OK and what’s up with the baggies? To date, I think those questions were answered best in an interview with Ars Technica’s Jon Stokes. I highly suggest you read it to get the big picture of what lead to 3-1-1."

Do you get annoyed during the bag screening process? Are the regulations helpful or a waste of time?
