Talk about being born at the right place at the right time. A woman aboard an AirAsia flight gave birth to a baby boy. Before making an emergency landing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the mother gave birth right before landing.
Sounds like a bizarre story; going into labor at 35,000 feet above the skies. But what makes this child's welcoming into the world special is the deal AirAsia rewarded the mother and child for giving birth on their airlines.
The budget carrier airline decided to celebrate this joyous occasion by giving the mother and child
free flights for life. Come again? For life! I wonder where the father of the child is and how jealous he is that his spouse and newborn get free flights for life. Hopefully, they will enjoy this wonderful gift and travel the world together!
Do you think they deserve this gift? Where would you go if you had free flights for life?

This kind of makes me want to have a kid on a plane JUST for the chance to get this.
I thought you weren't allowed to go on planes when you're THAT pregnant.
But if I got the free plan rides for the rest of my life I would definitely travel the world. Every corner on this earth. haha
@Agent_Spanky@xanga - i agree. don't think you're allowed on a plane when you're that pregnant and i'm sure there are good reasons for it.
i wouldn't think it'd be worth the risk. i wouldn't want my future "baby mama" risking something like that. plus it must hurt like a pita with no anaesthetics.
It's all marketing sadly. But if that had been me (and I had forsaken my doctor's advice and get on an airplane when I was that pregnant) I would be taking my child to see the world non-stop!!!
Holy frijoles! If I had free flights for life I'd be ALL OVER THE PLACE! Seriously! It's the plane tickets that hold me back! That is one lucky little baby. The mama--well, I wouldn't say it's lucky to have a baby on a plane.
I know you're not supposed to fly while that pregnant, but sometimes there isn't much choice in the matter. My mom was pretty pregnant when my dad got stationed in Hawaii and she had to fly over there or risk homelessness.
If I had free flights for life, I would go see my boyfriend (who lives in Denmark) all the time. :P
Haha, I heard about this on MSN Malaysia! Crazy story yo. Kind of odd... and I wonder, should the mother and child take full advantage of their situation, would AirAsia regret it? ;P
I think that there's a reason that you need a doctor's note to fly past 34 weeks pregnant. Crazy story, though.
And I think that's amazing that the airline did that for them.
id love this gift :[
id go to many places.
