Under the sea... Under the sea... Down where it's wetter, Darling it's better, take it from me!
Now that you have The Little Mermaid stuck in your head (Just like me), I wonder what it is like to Scuba. It is probably the coolest thing you can do in the water. To explore a world our eyes can't see.
Unfortunately, I am a high risk candidate for Scuba Diving. I am told because I have sickle cell trait, that I cannot go Scuba Diving because of the increased pressure and low oxygen underwater.
So if you are allowed to Scuba and you can, do it for me!
Have you ever been Scuba Diving? Does anything prevent you from it?

I SCUBA, but I don't enjoy it as much. I'd much rather Free Dive. It feels too artificial having all the gear, and moving around ballistically. It feels like I'm kind of like some kind of underwater UFO hovering around observing things. Free Diving allows me to have nothing on me but mask and sometimes fins, and swim like a fish. I'm much more agile, and can maneuver much better underwater.
Also, it's not as expensive, obviously; and there's no equipment to maintain, etc. I'll SCUBA for specific purposes though, deeper dives, obviously, and when other people want to SCUBA as well.
Yes, I have been, I'm certified (are we still talking about SCUBA?)
I love scuba diving, been certified for years =) my bf and I are planning on pursuing higher degrees of certification together.
I never have... I want to!
Yes. I hate sea cucumbers. :/
