The fear of flying is one serious matter. Think about it. You're in a confined space thousands of feet in the air. Anything can happen from natural disasters to engine failures, or now the biggest concern, terrorist attacks.
If you suffer from aerophobia, aviatophobia, aviophobia or pteromechanophobia (All words for the fear of flying), there isn't much you can do if you want to travel. There are anti-anxiety medicines that can ease the nervous feeling.
Or you could be an awesome bus/train/boat traveler. (Although that could get costly or mundane after a while)
I don't know many people that have a fear of flying, even after 9-11. I got on a plane for the first time right after 9-11 and I held a rosary and squeezed my best friend's hand for my dear life.
Are you scared of flying? Why/Why not?

i love flying, i love airplanes, i love airline food.
Nope..still the safest way to travel! Just when trouble goes down, it goes down big. But ah, no worries, those occurrences are rare in comparison to other traveling means. :)
I fly all the time--I love traveling, no matter the method of getting there.
not really, I just never think about it on the plane.. I'm on a plane and everything's cool
No. It's not something I think about being scared of.
I LOVE flying, I love airports, I love airplane food...
Yes, I'm weird.
I like going to the airport before flying, not always keen on airline food, but we been ordering vegetarian food the last few times instead of the standard meal when booking the flights.
At the end of the day the food keeps us going.
I don't like taking off, it was good that we could watch us taking off from Mexico since we had tv screen is front of each seat,
a lil. :( i feel like my heart is on earth, while my body is on air. haha i think i don't make any sense
I love flying.I find it so relaxing. Even though the food is not the best I don't care. Whatever happens on or to the plane in the air happens we can't control it or think negatively. Planes are still a safer way of getting from Point A to Point B. I just flew from Newfoundland to Quebec and from Quebec back to Newfoundland. I enjoy it very much it was only a 2 and half hour flight. The only thing I don't like about on planes is using the toilet. If I got to go pee I would hold it til I get to the airport.I am not a afraid of flying at all. I travel by myself a couple times by myself.
Yeah, I'm scared of flying. I probably don't have a reason to but I never have before, so that's probably why..
