I love Shalwar Kameez
i like their fashion. elegant. they always have pretty eyebrows bc they start off with so much hair and thread them, shape them. ughhh...mine are thin andnot full like theirs!
I love the kameez salwar, the beaded slippers, the silk skirts and tunics, hindu figurines...
The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the big jewelry pieces. I like statement pieces but only one ring or just earrings, but I notice some people's taste can go way overboard.
i've been to India and have noticed that most of the women and young girls have their noses pierced. i though that was interesting. and there is a lot of bright colors. every Sari was a bright color.
Why are these models so European-looking?? the majority of Indian women have browner skin tones! i think that there is significant difference at the way we look at these saris when worn by paler-skinned, tall models with European features.
