Over the weekend, I attended the Adventure For Travel Expo in New York City. (Warning, there will be lots of great content, information, pictures and videos from this event!)
I love a great adventure. At the expo, I witnessed an indoor Zip line. (Your editor did not get a chance to do this because of a 2 hour wait.) It looked like a lot of fun!
I am also sad to tell our readers that there are simple things I don't know how to do. For instance, I can't ride a bicycle or swim.
But, I'll do a zip line in a heart beat!
How adventurous are you? Do you know how to swim or ride a bike?

I LOVE zip lining! I went when Hocking Hills in Ohio opened theirs. Amazingggggg.
I really really want to rappel, so that's probably next on my adventure list.
I can swim and ride a bike, though I haven't done that second one in years. D:
@live_for_love@xanga - Zip lines are fun. I also enjoy Rappelling and Mountain Climbing. Cliff Diving even.
I think I could classify myself as being physically adventurous. I enjoy skydiving, for one. I've never BASE jumped, I think that's just too insane though, nevermind I've been in trouble with the law enough in my life, I don't like jail.
I definitely swim, being a surfer and a Free Diver (SCUBA too, but I prefer Free Diving), and bike; trying to train for Ironman Triathlon here in Hawai'i.
i can ride a bike :D i cant swim though ):
I can swim and ride a bike but that doesn't make me adventurous. I don't know what does.
I can ride a bike and I know how to swim... I could do with a little more adventure though... I've been kinda boring lately lol =)
I cannot do either.
Yes to both--I wouldn't consider either necessarily "adventurous," though...unless perhaps cross country biking along the edges of mountains or the like OR swimming deep amidst the ocean or waters in the wild somewhere! ;D
I used to not be adventurous at all; now my "To Do" list (before I die) is filled with adventurous-type things...it's called "adrenaline rush"--nothing like them! :D
I consider myself pretty darn adventurous! There's no much I don't think I wouldn't try.
I've been zip lining many times and white water rafting and SCUBA diving, as well as rappelling and rock climbing (both on real rocks). I also snow ski quite often and will do the blacks and sometimes the double blacks - though those are more difficult than they are scary really. I'd LOVE to go skydiving and bungee jumping.
I've been swimming since I was 3 and riding a bike since about the same time (w/o training wheels since I was 7).
