Things You Collect While Traveling
Everybody has a particular kind of souvenir they enjoy. Some people love getting a postcard in the mail, while others love collecting shot glasses from every city they have been to.
Seems like an interesting little habit to pick up. I couldn't think of anything I wanted to start collecting. Something that I can find anywhere I go, but that could be useful and unique and not just laying around in my room.
Any ideas to interesting things to collect? Do you collect certain things while you travel?

What about hats? You can wear or display them in your room. I buy postcards either to send them to family/friends or for my personal collection. I also buy shotglasses for my penpal and she now has a big collection because of me. =)
I have a cousin who collected keychains from every place she visited.
My roommate collects shot glasses - I think that's a pretty common thing to collect.
I've recently started collecting magnets. I've got them from Hawaii, Colorado and the Dominican Republic so far (only places I've gone since I started collecting them a year ago).
I usually get a post card too for an album if I'm going to make one. :P
I'm sooooo cheap, I collect garbage and give all the souvenirs to family and friends as gifts... I collect pop tops, and I keep all my European pop tops separate from my American pop tops. Also, I collect those little Hard Rock Cafe flags that come in the drinks. And I collect interesting glass bottles, which I use in my room as decoration now.
I guess the one thing I collect that I actually pay for is bouncy balls. I've collected those from across Europe and the States, even though they pretty much all originate in China...lol.
My elder brother collect all the coke tin all around the world
quite nice...
And I think if I going to travel, I will try all the delicious food from the traveling place...
I collect shot glasses!
the country's flag. i have a bunch of flags. :D
Pictures of my snapshots and some left over change in the country's currency. :) I'm not much of a spender when it comes to trinkets, clothes, or some other objects. Plus, I have an easier time getting past the airport line.Â
I collect magnets from everywhere I go. My mom started it, and now when I travel I collect them too!
