Concentration Camps: They Didn't End in Germany!
What would you do if there were still concentration camps in this world? Did you know that they are still around?
Concentration camps were said to have been "completely removed" after World War 2 ended. However, that is unfortunately NOT true! There are currently 300,000 North Koreans suffering in concentration camps, ranging from crimes like these:
- Crossing the border to get food because you're starving & the government doesn't provide what they say they will.
- Being a Christian & spreading the Gospel or owning a Bible (15 or more years in the camp, & maybe/sometimes even execution)
- Escaping North Korea because of such reasons as hunger, abuse, no freedom of rights, etc, & thus being labeled a "traitor" of the country
- Saying something against "The Dear Leader" or "not giving him enough praise" or "not bowing to him when you see his statutes or pictures"
- Complaining about life in North Korea & saying such things as "I want to go to America"
- Watching South Korean TV programs or listening to South Korean radio stations (which is illegal in North Korea) ... or any "westernized" countries radio or TV programs for that matter
Your WHOLE family will also go with you to the concentration camp. It's said by North Korean refugees that up to the 3rd generation of your family will be punished if you "Commit a crime."
Take the time to watch this 10 minute video testimony of a woman who was in one of the harshest prison camps in North Korea, called "Yadok." It will move you to tears & hopefully prayer & action! If we choose to remain ignorant, another person dies during that moment.
What are your thoughts?
- Crossing the border to get food because you're starving & the government doesn't provide what they say they will.

And we are in Iraq? If we are gonna be all nosey and shit we might as well be somewhere where we can actually make a friggen difference
My grandparents and parents went through the same thing what feelslikejuly had posted.Â
that's so sad. he needs to die soon, and so does the rest of his family because then they would have to take over :/
does cuba have concentration camps too since fidel is a communist?
I feel horrible for not knowing more about this. I'm watching more videos online right now. Even if I can't do anything about it, I can at least know about it.... and maybe tell others.
It gets a lot worse and nobody does anything about it unless there is interest in the region. I'd go because I have low social standing, and they wouldn't let me die because I want to. I'd be as annoying as possible and do any damage I could to try to help other people out or play the fool. I don't value my life, and I'm psychotic, so I don't feel pain on the same level as everyone else if denied meds. It's up to their people to make the change. They would rebel as a mass if they were motivated, but they are not, so they submit. Our leaders know there are ways to destabilize them economically but do not, so they are content with the way things are as well and do not wish to even inspire rebellion. Worry about what's happening in this country. Realize that history has a way of repeating itself.
Yeah. We're going to storm North Korea to save a bunch of North Koreans who had committed "crimes," even though Americans hate going to war, even though the probability of sending in strike teams or hostage rescue teams would be nil considering that that would be a declaration of war, even though we have a Nobel Peace Prize winning president...
Oh yeah and the government will cut an entire neighborhood's power, send in soldiers to check their VCRs (since the power is cut no one can eject whatever they're watching) and will send you to camps like these for watching anything too American.
Oh,yes concentraytion camps STILL exist! And NOT just in China.Palestine is one BIG concentration camp that is being run by "Gods Chosen People"(thats what they call themselves...I have other names for them...LOL.)
have you heard of LiNK? http://www.linkglobal.org/. this is an organization dedicated to raising awareness about the atrocities in NK.
i attended a LiNK event hosted at my university (when i was a student), and heard a live testimony by a NK gulag survivor. it was heartbreaking. but an example of the true resilience of the human spirit.
