Do It Before You Die Thursday: Insect Buffet
Call me a foodie, but I'll eat mostly anything. I love anything crazy spicy to something as simple as grilled steak with sea salt.
But then I think about my idea to visit Asia and the many strange things I might approach. Such as eating insects.Today's Do It Before You Die Thursday: The Insect Buffet
You've seen it. Have you ate insects? Would you eat insects in Thailand?

I have had chocolate covered some kind of bug when I was a child.
Now, I am much less adventurous which is kind of sad. I wouldn't try bugs no way, no how.
Uhh... No thank you! I'll just stick with my Taiwanese night market amazing food, thank you very much! Oh man... Taiwan has the best stuff :) Hehe! Definitely visit Taiwan if you get the change to trek around Asia!
I might try it just to say I have. But absolutley no promises that I'll like it.

i had fried crickets when i was in rural japan. apparently it was a "delicacy" in that area. too crispy/crunchy...its legs got stuck in my teeth. i had two. the first one was because i put it in my mouth and swallowed it with a bunch of tea, and the second one i actually chewed.
*shudder*
and right after i typed all that, a green insect flew right in front of my face. holy crap.
