Korean Trend: Matching Couples?
This could almost be a Lovelyish/TripCrazed/Datingish love triangle! Spotted: Korean couples that are totally head over heels in love so badly that they even match! Apparently, this is a growing trend for Koreans. If you're in Korea, this is something you should keep your eyes peeled for! Here is the proof.

Pictures from hereCan we say they like stripes as well? Maybe just a coincidence.
Have you been to Korea and have you seen matching couples?

I believe there are matching couples EVERYWHERE in the world. Lol, if only I could convince my boyfriend to join the matching phenomena with me. There are so many cute bf/gf tees out there! :)
haha cute
That's a no go on the matching. We came in as individuals...
I've seen the matching couples o_O, and some of the clothes are downright hideous. I felt bad for the boyfriend for having to wear that, and I felt even worse for him if he chose it out of his own accord. There are some really cute ones too, like this one:

I don't really get it though; I wouldn't want to be seen wearing the same thing as someone else even if it was accidental, but these couples do it on purpose o_O.
LOL! i've seen there in NA too.
there is this korean couple i remember in highschool that were always matching.. they even dyed their hair and got perms together.
I just saw a matching couple on peopleofwalmart.com. I think they're everywhere.
When I lived with my parents we'd have the occasional family mind meld and accidentally all end up wearing matching clothes. It weirded me out every time, but I thought it was funny.
Awwww!!
We joke about going out as a family in matching clothes but we'd never actually do it. I think this is seen every where.
I am Korean. :B But my boyfriend is a whitie. He got us matching flannels though. :]
I don't think it has anything to do with race. More along the lines of how comfortable the males are going out in public whilst matching.
I've been married to my husband for a year, and we have some of the same t-shirts from back in college. At least 3-4 times a week we'll put on the same t-shirt the same day or wear the exact same color--it's just coincidence, but our friends always laugh.
No I have never been to Korea, never seen matching couples before.
Imagine
been to korea, but have never seen matching couples before!
Been there, seen that. It's the CUTEST thing ever :)
i like color coordination.
That's not cute. It's kind of hilarious actually. Why would I want to match someone else?
Taipei had a cute pair of couple t-shirts.
One of them had Spider man on it in a corner shooting a web.. which goes on to the girls tshirt where Mary Jane gets caught in the web. my friend got it for his girlfriend. So cute!
lol.
puke. thats a fashion Do Not
this isn't a growing trend in Korea, it's been well established for over a decade...just because you discovered it recently, doesn't mean it's an upcoming trend.
it's weird
coz matching their clothes seems more like they are siblings than a couple
anyway, it's kind of cute that they both accept to wear the same thing
haha aww I think its cute :P
I think it's incredibly cute.
But I'll never admit that, beyond xanga...
-cough-
so cuute!
i don't think i'd do it though, lol
