Travel Games For Boring Car Rides
"The wheels on the bus go round and round. Round and Round..." Okay. I agree. Don't take a sledge hammer to your P.C. Now that I have that song stuck in your head, don't you remember those long car trips?
Later this month, my friends and I are planning to drive down to Six Flags for Fright Fest. Although the trip is not long, I was thinking of ways to pass the time if we can't make conversation.
Here is an interesting one I found here
A Billion QuestionsA lot like the game “20 Questions”, but this version can go on much, much longer.
How to Play: One person thinks of something. Your partners have unlimited guesses, so make it as difficult as you like (ideologies, states of being, emotions, things that change shape or color). Once, a friend of mine was thinking of his own reflection, and it kept us all guessing for hours!
I would probably pick something strange: Like The large intestine or Cosi potato chips. (That came to mind because I am currently in Cosi!)
Another fun game is "Would You Rather?" think of the craziest things that are hard to compare. For example: "Would you rather be a Sanitation worker or a Podiatrist?"
And of course, the favorite that most people play: I Spy.
I spy with my eye...
It is as simple as that!
What are your favorite ways to pass the time on a car ride?

"Spot the car" is still classic & can raise debates if you play "Spot the (insert color) car" since custom blended colors are on the rise. It's fun yet cheesy. Basically you pick a thing with cars & look for it for X amount of time & whoever has the most points wins. Ex: Spot the car with the Jersey Plates, Spot the car with a dashboard dancer in the window, Spot the car a funny bumper sticker. It's almost endless.
Advisory: If you're the driver, dont play & cause an accident. I think it's better suited for the passengers. Sorry! XD
My dad was a truck broker...he gave us a pad of paper and a pen He told us, get all the information you can from as many semi-trucks as you can (all info is usually located on cab door). For every truck on the list that I can book, I will give you 5 dollars. Ok, so he never paid up, but it kept us kids busy. Lol. We usually played those little travel board games, read, did puzzle books, or just listened to our walk-mans!
hahah. we play that "I Spy" game! we get into metaphors, so it becomes more challenging and super fun.
