  • Photo Friday: Paris France

    NIKON D300, Nikon 18-200 VR

Editor's Note: I am simply blown away by this photo! Thanks again to Places 2 Explore for such beautiful photography!

Water fountains at night are special subjects for photography! This was taken in Paris, France just down the street from the Arc De Triomphe and the Louvre.   I had photographed this during the day, but the night shots are where its at!  I had posted an earlier shot of this fountain…close up in HDR.  This is a more panned out shot.

It was taken with a 2 seconds exposure in order to give the water that flowing effect.  You can see the light from the Blue Eiffel Tower glowing in the upper section in the background.

On my next trip back, I will surely spend a little more time at fountains during the evening hours!  Enjoy!

Have you seen this fountain in Paris, France? (Editor's note: How did I miss this fountain?) Do you prefer fountains during the day or at night?

    • About Me: http://places2explore.wordpress.com/ There are many places in this world to explore.... We all dream to travel to far distant places, see new sights and view the many cultures around the globe. I am fortunate that I have a chance to travel the world for my job and enjoy taking photographs of where I have been and what I have seen. I travel around the US, into Europe, the UK and occasionally to the Far East. Some of my favorite places to travel to are New York City, Paris, London, Tokyo, Vienna and Southern California. With the age of digital cameras, taking pictures has become very enjoyable! To immediately look at your vision pop up on the camera screen is wonderful. Sharing my photographs and seeing the final print framed on a shelf or mounted on the wall is why I enjoy photography so much. Please feel free to browse my site and order any prints you may like or just enjoy the photos. Thank you for taking the time to visit Talke Photography!
