Image SourceWhen your car is out of gas, you hit the gas station, when you're low on fluids, you find a water fountain, but what if you're out of breath? Find an Oxygen Bar! It looks like Singapore has the right idea for
travelers looking for some fresh air. Literally.
Singapore's Changi Airport offers an oxygen bar. This is a place where you can breathe humidified air through a nasal tube. It has a bigger concentration of oxygen that helps you breathe easier. The different colors represent the various aromas one can choose to inhale.
This is not only great to help you get some clean air, but it can help those who are anxious before a long plane ride! The Oxygen bar is in the Plaza Premium Lounge on Level 3 in Terminal 1.
Have you been to an oxygen bar? Would you try to get some fresh air?

I'M GOING TO SINGAPORE IN DECEMBERRRR.
just thought i'd tell the world. ;D
ps. no, i've never been to one.. maybe in december i'll give it a try :D:D:D
This seems so dystopianly weird, I don't know.
Feels like I should be popping some soma too.
I've heard about these, but I've never been to one. Sounds interesting, though. And it might get me a little hungry. I bet you I'd catch a whiff of, say, strawberry cheesecake (assuming they have that fragrance), and head straight for a bakery.
I've been to one. It's not as great as it sounds. It's scented oxygen
but it's not concentrated enough to make you feel any different. I
didn't feel anything but the strong scent made me a little nauseous.
@Sammyhellsyea@xanga - interesting perspective
definitely on to do list
I wish they had home versions of those!
i've always wanted to go! i didn't know the airport has one. i know clarke quay in singapore also has one (i heard it from my teacher) and clarke quay has alottttt of good food.
no i wouldn't, i'm a bit of a germaphobe.
this is awesome. and plus, my fiance and i are planning on going to Singapore for our honeymoon
haha oh gosh, i live in singapore! maybe i should go try it out tomorrow..
They have tons of these things in Vegas. I never tried one, though. I've never heard of anyone that has, or whether they work or not.
I'll definitely try this along with the Chinese Medicine Restaurant.
I always thought you could get high over those things. Guess not. I rather just head to Amsterdam and get me a special brownie (or a suitcase full of them)
LOVEEE this! Singapore is THE bomb dotcom.
woah that sounds cool. haha
i went to one the day after my 21st bday in vegas quite hungover and it made me feel so much better!
HAHAHA next time I'm there and if I have time I'm going to go and check it out xD
