  • Sleeping In Airports

That is certainly one way you can sleep in an airport. Looks like the guy in the picture came prepared for the worse. Face it! Everyone hates to be delayed at the airport.

Sometimes weather messes up your trip and you end up having to spend an extra day at the place you're trying to leave.

When I was recently in Hawaii, I almost had to stay at the airport. But considering it was the beautiful tropics of Hawaii, I didn't think it would be so bad.

But it isn't always a win-win situation. What if you can't afford a hotel? What if you have to stick around for a flight that might have a crazy schedule?

If you're wondering how to sleep in an airport, Sleepinginairports.net is a great guide to the art of airport sleeping.

The site has great tips on how to stay comfortable, shares funny pictures and videos of people sleeping in airports and the best part: The list of the best and worst places to sleep.

Here are the top 3 best and worse places to sleep.

    Best:
    1. Singapore Changi
    2. Seoul Incheon
    3. Amsterdam Schiphol

    Worse:
    1. Paris Charles de Gaulle * a must read *
    2. Moscow Sheremetyevo
    3. New York JFK

I can agree about JFK Airport. Although I've never had to sleep at an airport, being at JFK alone gives me a headache.

Have you been to any of these airports? Have you had to sleep at an airport?
