
That is certainly one way you can sleep in an airport. Looks like the guy in the picture came prepared for the worse. Face it! Everyone hates to be delayed at the airport.
Sometimes weather messes up your trip and you end up having to spend an extra day at the place you're trying to leave.
When I was recently in Hawaii, I almost had to stay at the airport. But considering it was the beautiful tropics of Hawaii, I didn't think it would be so bad.
But it isn't always a win-win situation. What if you can't afford a hotel? What if you have to stick around for a flight that might have a crazy schedule?

New York JFKI can agree about JFK Airport. Although I've never had to sleep at an airport, being at JFK alone gives me a headache.

When I left California the second time I visited I was dropped off at the terminal in San Francisco really early close to dawn. It wasn't exactly sleeping over but hanging out. I hung out with a girl and a guy over breakfast.
