I used to go to Starbucks and see everyone with a MacBook on their table. Lately, everyone seems to be picking up one of these guys. Literally, they are quite easy to pick up!
Its the essential tool for the traveler that needs to connect back home. In a previous
post, it was proven that there are many reasons why Backpackers might need a net-book.
When my main laptop died, my net-book was a great backup. It got me through a long 5 hour flight to Los Angeles, CA. And whenever I go to visit a friend, my laptop fits right in my purse like a little puppy. Whether you're a backpacker or a first time traveler, a net-book is portable, functional and serves a great purpose.

I had one but we took it back. T.T
I've got a Eee, it's fantastic- looks great, light for carrying between classes, 8.5 hour battery life, 160gb hard drive, I installed 2gb RAM, comes with XP, built-in camera, and it only cost about $300. Not bad at all...
i have the same netbook as yours, i have it in white and i love using it. especially when i have a presentation at school or travelling because it's light weight, doesn't take up too much space and it has almost everything i need to keep me connected with friends and family. my only complain for this one is the battery life, 3 hours is not enough.
I bought one for myself a few months ago.I just had to get myself one.They are so cute.I got a purse just for my little netbook and I carry all it's accessories in it. I love it cause of the size of it it is light, you can take it anywhere. I got the Acer mini netbook. I bought mine at Wal-Mart. This netbook is my little baby. Mine is navy blue. I even got one for my mom too it is a black one. When my mom and brother saw it when it arrived at the door they could not believe how small it was. One thing that my brother notice that it did not have was a hard drive so you can put a disc in it to download music or to listen to music or whatever. That don't bother me cause I use a mp33 player to upload the music from the internet to my mp3 player. I love my netbook so much I have to get a car adapter so I can take it with me on long road trips while my husband is driving so I won't get bored and fall asleep.
