If I'm buying souvenirs for my loved ones, I try to steer clear from the typical I Love "__" t-shirts or shot glasses. I'm always on the look out for unique things to get people. I often try to look for flea markets or smaller shops to discover some awesome gifts that I might not find at the airport shops or in the bigger malls. Sometimes, there are just strange things out there that would make me think twice about getting it for someone.
1. Boner Bears: Japan always seems to have the strangest things right? This is the cherry on top of the sundae. Everyone loves those little cute chains girls put on cellular phones. Take a close look at this cute little bear. He has a boner! I don't think there is anymore I can say about that one.
2. Panda Poop: OH LOOK AT THE CUTE PANDA! Don't you just want to take him home? Unfortunately, we can't. But you can bring a bit of his poop home. Come again? The Chinese Wildlife Research Center is planning to profit by selling Panda Poop. Now Now, they aren't exactly selling the poop. They are using the Panda droppings to make everything from bookmarks to panda statues. Still kind of freaks me out.
3. Sex Wax: Whoa baby. The best for your stick. This isn't some kind of kinky sex wax to get down and dirty. I saw this in Hawaii and was absolutely perplexed. It is a surf wax. Very clever marketing. It caught my eye and I purchased it as a gag gift for a friend! You never know when someone might want to pick up a new hobby and start surfing!
