Have you ever forgotten to pack something important?
On a trip to Washington DC, my friend forgot to pack her underwear! We got there late so all the stores were closed so she couldn't buy any underwear for our first night. What she did was wash her underwear in the sink for the first night and wore her boyfriend's underwear to sleep.
We went out to go underwear shopping for her the next day. She didn't want to spend too much money so she ended up buying these HUGE panties from CVS!
Have you ever forgotten to pack something important?

That's tragic. The worse I've forgotten was my stuffed cow .. ? hah
My sister did that trick when she was younger when we went to the seaside for the week instead of my mum doing the packing for us all, she wanted to pack her on clothes, she only packed about three pair so we had to go and find a department stores.
I have never forgot to pack anything important, sleepwear I can managed with underwear incase there is a fire alarm which goes off.
Have we ever forgotten something important? How ironic. My daughter just discovered that she packed the laptop, but forgot the power cord!
a small pot to boil water in and utensils :( I was in England, had a kitchen with no cookware!
x
On a more tragic note, when my first was a baby, I forgot to pack her favorite stuffed bunny, that she absolutely had to have in order to sleep. We were traveling over 1200 miles by car. After crying for eight hours, she finally fell into a fitful sleep in my arms. No other toy would do until my mom bought her a music box. I had to keep it playing all night long, or she would wake up and cry.
Never again did I ever forget such an important item! She's 15 now, and still has the bunny. (Don't tell her that I told her secret!)
I always write a list and tick against the items that went inside the luggage. And I always pack in advance so that I won't miss out anything.
I forgot my toothbrush once. That was awful. Just like your friend, I got in really late so nothing was open so I couldn't get one till the next day in the afternoon b/c I was busy  starting at 7 in the morning.
i haven't forgotten anything, i usually have a check list. But i do always pack night before so i may forget things, not really anything that i really need though.
I once forgot to pack my toothbrush for my trip to Texas last year. Good thing toothbrushes were easy to come by. Hehe.
its usually the toiletries that people forget to pack
@Alatariel40@xanga - That's okay, I'm 23 and I still have my stuffed dog. In fact, he's been with me on two trips to Europe, and he's become my little "traveling gnome" in all my photos, and everyone thinks it's hilarious. At least that's how I play off my dependency on him, lol.
Oh no! I would have been mortified to find out that I had forgotten underwear. I think the worst I've ever done was forget a toothbrush, and well, that's why hotels have free ones. :)
Once, I forgot to pack my asthma pump. It wasn't so bad cuz my asthma didn't really act up during my three day camping trip. I NEVER forget now, it's always in my bookbag or my pocket, no matter where I go... it's there.
And this one time I forgot to pack my pads HAHAHAHAHA. That kinda sucked, but we found a easy solution: local drug store. lollll... it really sucked.
i forgot socks once...
I forgot my bikini on a holiday to Cuba once.
I did however manage to pack a jar of marmite for breakfast though,
one time i went on a trek and we were supposed to pack a plate and cup for having our meals in and i forgot... luckily i made some good friends on the trip and they didnt mind if i shared a meal on their plate or washed their plate and used it after them... lol... fun times...
@retardtm@xanga - YEAH I FORGOT TO PACK MY TOOTHBRUSH/TOOTHPASTE AND SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER WHEN I WENT OUT OF TOWN LAST MONTH BUT LUCKILY OUR HOTEL WAS RIGHT ACROSS FROM A LONG'S DRUG STORE
