Four Reasons to Experience India
1) Fun in the sun
Especially Goa, it's the place to be, and one of my all time favorite locations. Party place and all! White sand beaches, it's amazing.
Sunny and beeyootifull :)
2) The local way
Some people can't see beyond the slightly messier side of India, but every story has two sides. Indians will always be Indians and there's something about the place that can really catch you, especially if you're good at looking past the superficial side of things.
And you've gotta have a ride in one of these, Indian style! It's all about the auto rickshaw :)
3) You can't really talk about India without mentioning the food. It's pretty tasty, but you might need a strong stomach, and get used to a bucket load of chillies!
4) Bollywood!
Is where all the entertainment is at. It might seem a bit farfetched and a bit overdone for some tastes, but hey, it's an India thing.
There's a lot of tradition and culture to India that you really can't find anywhere else.
Trust me, it's not all about the pollution, traffic, bad weather and slums, as many people think.
India is a wicked fun place, I've got first hand experience. I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else right now, and to top it all off, the people are probably the most honest and down right loyal you'll ever meet.
And if you really wanna get the gist of what India stands for, go and read Shantaram, if you haven't already. Even I started loving the place even more.

i'd love to go.
I've been to India before! My aunt lives there and I visited places like Agra (Taj Mahal), Goa, South India, and I lived in Mumbai my entire stay there. The culture there is absolutely great and I love the food! I've grown to LOVE spicy food and demand the different chutneys whenever my mom decides to make Indian food! :)
The beaches were abolsutely breathtaking, too. I admit I was a bit hesitant because I thought it would be dirty and toooo crowded, but I got used to it after a few days. It's definitely a great place to visit. And, the woman in the last picture is soo pretty!
I want the food in that picture. :/
That second photo!! I bet that was dye for Holi, the Festival of Colors! The next time I can afford a vacation abroad it'll be for that festival and to trek through Thailand!
I'd love to go someday.
Mhmmm. That would be fun.
Oh I would love to go to India, I need no convincing. And the food...I would give myself 5lbs leeway in going to India. Maybe I could try to work it off dancing (the music sounds great from what I've heard). And the cultural experiences would be fantastic. I must plan a trip to go there.
I want to experience the sadhu way of life. It would seem to make more sense doing it in India, but if I could pull it off in the United States, that'd be fine, too. I love many aspects of Indian culture, especially their food.
what's the colorful thing? so pretty!
i would love to visit india but.... it's the smell that i don't think i can bear with. sorry if i offend any indians!
Haha, I honestly can't entirely agree, but I will say India is an awesome experience!
Awesome pics for the post. :D
Bollywood alone is enough of a reason! Kareena, Hrithic, Shah Rukh, Ashwaria, Amitab! I will take them all!
@AuroraYorcliffe@xanga - Trust me! You will definetly work off any meal you eat doinf Bhangra or Bollywood dance! :D
