  • The Ledge: Chicago's Coolest New Attraction

Last summer when I visited Chicago, like every tourist, I went to check out the view from the Sears Tower.  Unfortunately for me, though, they only just opened this week what has to be the coolest part of the tower.  Now, instead of just viewing Chicago's skyscrapers, flat landscapes and Lake Michigan from inside glass windows, you can actually stand (or sit or lay) on a glass floor connected to the outside of the building.  According to DesignCrave, the new glass balcony, called, The Ledge, rests 1,353 in the air and is a completely transparent rectangle of floor, ceiling and walls; the design hoping to impress the feeling that you are floating in the middle of The Windy City.

Would you ever stand on The Ledge?
