If You Had a Time Machine Would You Go Back or Forward?
For generations and generations, people have been fascinated with the concept of time travel. Countless movies such as Back to the Future and kids’ shows like Phil of the Future have some Americans fixated on the idea of living in another time.
If you had a time machine, would you rather travel back to the past or blast forward to the future? What would you want to see if you could look back or forward?

back, and i would tell my younger self how to make the best of college
scratch that, i wanna visit victorian england. with all its horrible chimney dust
I would go back to the time my dad's sperm was ready to make the hit and try to select another one.
That's a deep question. Because, I would love to go backwards in time and redo my life, not that I'm unhappy with my life, I like it, I just think it could be better...lol. I think, if I had to choose, I would go forward in time. I don't mean for myself, but for the world. If we're killing the earth, I would want to know how to fix it. I'd be like a time traveler, like Bobby Pendragon, except I could only travel on earth. And only once..but still. I would see how everything, and I mean everything, is going to work out. The only thing is, if I did that and figured out what's so bad about the future, I would have no idea what to do to change it.
I'd like to go back, but only as a spectator. I wouldn't want to be able to get in the way because of the whole Changing The Course Of Life thing. That wouldn't be good.

Time travel? I do that during the school year. One minute it's the begining of class and the next thing I know class is over. Wait...that's sleeping. Yes sleeping is a way to travel through time :)
I'd like to visit the past, say in the time of the dinosaurs. If I had to do only one and live with that choice I'd jump forward, say 150 years. Not to far into the future but enough that I wouldn't likely meet anyone I currently know. I think that would be painful to still be young and see them aged.
hmm, maybe forward? skip the stress of yr 12 and get to the part where i'm a famous news presenter ;)
i wouldn't use it. regardless of how badly things suck. and how much my mistakes are still killing me, they are also making me. i'm learning from them. and i have to hope that one day i will love back on them and be glad of them because they led me someone else. so i would not go back ot change them.
and i would like to have the chance to influence the future. which i can't do if i rush there. besides, what if i were to arrive at the future and realise that all the people i had loved weren't around, or were different? i don't want to miss seeing them grow up and grow old.
Hm... I'd love to go forward, see the future and how fucked up things will be :)
definitely back. to my childhood, and re-live some of it. or go to a completely different decade to experience the life my parents or grandparents once lived through. i don't want to know what the future holds.
At this moment in time, I'd wanna go into the future. The main reason being, this pain/sadness/hurt/raw emotions/etc I have from the breakup with my boyfriend would be gone... or at least not as present as they are right now.
