If You Had a Time Machine Would You Go Back or Forward?
For generations and generations, people have been fascinated with the concept of time travel. Countless movies such as Back to the Future and kids’ shows like Phil of the Future have some Americans fixated on the idea of living in another time.
If you had a time machine, would you rather travel back to the past or blast forward to the future? What would you want to see if you could look back or forward?

The future to see what I've done with my life. If I don't like it then I'd just come back and make different decisions.
i want to go back where i was in kindergarten. it was like the best time ever. i kno its immature to say that i dont want to grow up and i dont want to become independent, but i really don't. i even wish time could stop at that moment. =(
If i went back to olden times, i would be considered a genius. I would have figured out gravity. I would have invented bubble wrap. I would have been rich and powerful because of my knowledge of the future. However, im not much of a old time person. i like the more futuristic.. to an extent. It would be interesting to see where humanity was headed so im going to have to say, to the FUTURE.
Shit, son, I wouldn't go anywhere. I've seen Back to the Future too many times to know that I'm a huge clutz and would fuck up the space/time continuum.
I'd go back, for my own selfish reasons.
Back! I don't want to see how screwed up our future will be...
back. to reminisce the goood old days. lol
Since the future is pretty much predictable (with more and more technology being invented, so it makes it look like we'll have flying cars in a few years), I'd rather go to the past. Probably to the time of Odysseus in Homer's The Odyssey, or to the time of Joan of Arc, or from Shakespear's time. That would be rad.
I'd want to be there to witness those events.
I wouldn't want to choose either, stay in present time. If i had to choose, i say future.
go forward... never look back.
forward to see if everything would work out but then back to the present
I would pick back, tell my childhood self import things in order to attempt to make myself not make as many mistakes in life.
I would go backward so I could relive all the good times I've had with my friends and family (that sounded really corny, but oh well).
Back!
Backwards, so I could be stuck in nostalgic memories.
Like in Back to the Future II, I would go in the future, get the results of all kinda of sporting events, and make a fortune betting on them. I suppose I would also have to make several "wrong" bets to make it look like I haven't fixed things as well. Or maybe just get the winning lottery numbers for one of the bigger jackpots.
id take a .50 caliber rifle and go back to when the dinos existed and hunt me some t-rex
i'd go back just to re-live things, then i'd go forward and see what's gonna happen.
I want both!! But if I can't choose both, past...the present would come again...therefore my future of the past....
Right now, I'd travel back to the 4th of July weekend and do things a little differently. I regret not telling her how I felt and doing absolutely nothing the entire weekend...
If I went left instead of right would it make a difference.
If I listen instead of ignore would it change.
If I knew before it happend would even trying to make it course differently make it better.
Or is it better to just left it as faith.
If I would knowing going back with the responsibility that what had taken its course would be changed by me and take a different path to the one that has been and is lost to me forever.
The only way is turn back the clock reset the whole universe to that certain point where only me would know what was and perish with the though without losing anything but the change being made.
Cause everything changes except............Me.
I would know.
I don't regret the past - each moment made me who I am
I'm
learning to live one day at time - not worrying about the future.
But if I had to choose: I'd like a little glimpse into the future so I can prepare myself for the 'unknown'.
I would definitely go back in time. There are a couple things I'd like to do differently, like my freshman year at college, haha.
backward to when muslims had control of our kingdom granada and had control of half of europe.
back i would have loved to see JFK alive and watched Elvis in his good years in person!
