  • Travel for Movie Lovers

If you’re someone who loves films, you may have taken movie tours during some of your travels.  Checking out sites where scenes from famous films have been shot can be fun, especially if they happen to be some of your favorite movies.

I once took a movie tour in Boston with a group but had no idea what movies the guide was talking about because, as anyone who knows me can tell you, I have seen probably only a dozen movies in my lifetime.  There’s no real reason for this; I guess I’m just not much of a movie buff.  But I digress….

For those of you who are movie lovers, there is now a new way for you to travel and find the settings from the films you love. According to The New York Times, there is a new host of books being released by Museyon Guides’ Film + Travel, a series of books dedicated to locating popular movie scenes around the world and mapping them out for tourists.  Each book features various locations with history, photography and trivia on each of the movie sites.
