Where Do You Think the Best Beaches Are?
My friends often take family trips to Cancun and Aruba, but the most beaching I have ever done has been in the states. How often do you go out of the country to vacation at beaches? Where do you think the most exotic beaches are outside of the U.S.? What's unique about them?

for me, it really doesn't matter as long as there aren't too many people.
that being said, my favorite beach is near laguna beach. it's a bit secluded and not a lot of people go there. it's really lovely.
Try the coast of Western Australia: Ningaloo, etc. Unspoilt, so wonderful.
I'm from Aus, so outside of Australia best beach I've been to was at Hawaii. The beaches glow blue in the night, it's maybe the coolest thing I've seen in my life
french prolynesian islands (not in europe), hit that up. it's my dream to go there,
Tahiti, for certain. I should be there now...
Thailand.
Only been to Bahamas beaches and it was wonderful!

So far I would have to say Aruba and Cayman Islands.
hawaii. it`s amazing.
Big fan of Pensacola. So, it's not exotic. Sue me.
St. Thomas has reallyyyy nice beaches. The water is so clear, and there were hardly any people at the one I went to. I also hear Bermuda's beaches are beautiful. Pink sand. :))
The Federated States of Micronesia has some amazing beaches, so do the Marianas Islands.
Phillippines; any of the beaches on the small islands, not the big ones. those are junky-- ha ha.
St. John, US Virgin Islands. Hands down.
virginia beach babyyyyyyyyyy! hahaha. but no, i've been to miami and key west and those beaches were amazing... south beach has such white sand and such clear blue water...... oh my god! i haven't really been anywhere else that has amazing beaches or whatever but when you're thinking about an atlantic destination in the states, and your choices are between myrtle beach, ocean city, atlantic city, and virginia beach... i've heard tourists say vabch is the best! i'm from around here and apparently we are waaaaay better than myrtle beach especially! and alotta DC people would rather make the 4+ hour drive to vabch than the 2-3 hour drive to ocean city.
All of these answers are so...typical. If you're planning on traveling, Croatia definitely. It's beeeeeeeeautiful AND peaceful, so so so peaceful.
I'm slightly biased since I live here but I gotta say Hawaii except for Waikiki...All the beaches are amazing with the texture of the sand and the incredible blue/green color of the ocean...
I've never been to any beaches outside the country.However, i've been to Puerto Galera and Maribago Blue Waters in Cebu, so far those are the best beaches i've ever been to. I'd also love to go to BORACAY and EL NIDO Palawan.
Caribbean beach is one of the best, that is why Caribbean cruises is on of the most famous way of cruising.
Wow I'm clearly pathetic.
I live in Canada and have NEVER been anywhere with white sandy beaches and CLEAR blue water.
All the beaches in Canada are lakes, not oceans. (N)
So the sand is brownish and rocky, and the water is also brownish, and definitely NOT clear at all. I always wonder what is lurking in the water. Good thing there is no sharks tho! =]
