St Christopher’s Inns Launch World’s First Live Dorm Cam
St Christopher's Inns have installed a live webcam in the 14 bed dormitory of their London Bridge hostel – The Village.
The live feed is available at http://www.stchristopherslive.com and is the first project of this kind, in the world.
Murray Roberts from St Christopher's said: “There's nothing out there like this and in the test runs so far, our travelers are loving it."
“It's being used to wave at Mums and Dads on the opposite side of the world, celebrate birthday parties happening thousands of miles away and for catching up with friends who are hanging around our other webcams, he said. “With free Wi-Fi and webcams in the London Bridge hostel and in our hostel bars up in Edinburgh, Newquay, Covent Garden and Shepherd's Bush, our customers can see the friends they make on the road and decide where they want to go next!”
Interacting with the dorm dwellers isn't far away either and soon viewers will be able to send the residents free beer for all the fun stuff they do and sound off fog horns in response to the not so popular antics!
Mr Roberts added, “After rolling out free Wi-Fi at our 17 hostels across Europe and introducing female only Oasis floors, this seemed like the next best thing when it comes to keeping St Christopher's Inns at the forefront of customer intrigue and satisfaction.”

ha, i guess that's cute, not creepy?
I stayed at a St. Christopher's Inn in Brighton, and, like all of their hostels, they have a bar/hangout attatched, which is pretty cool... only, if you're on the 3rd or so floor above it, you pretty much get "rocked to sleep" by the music and bass until like 3am, or whenever it closes.
Cant say I'd stay there, but it sounds like a fun place to visit.
