Would You Travel for a Music Festival?
Summer is the season when music festivals around the country are at large. My friend in Milwaukee always raves about Summerfest, taking place there every year between June and July. Though she doesn't have to travel very far to see it, I have considered going for a visit around that time to see her and to check out the festival.

Have you ever traveled to go to a music festival? Would you?

I haven't traveled yet to go to a festival, but have for many individual shows. I would love to go to Bonaroo but it is always at a bad time of year for me, and there are many other festivals that I would love to go to. Thankfully where I live we have lots of shows and festivals so I don't HAVE to go anywhere. Music and sports male up the biggest part of my life, so I am willing to travel to see what I like.
i would like to go to some local christian music festivals this summer but don't have the finances.
Milwaukee Summerfest is as good as I've heard, but I've never been there personally. I love music fests, I just usually don't have the cash to spend to attend most fests....but I would go to many if I could afford it.
I would love to go to some of the metal festivals in Europe. They always have such great bands and crazy crowds!
Yes i would travel to one provided i had the money! Preferable the rock ones either cross country at home (England) or in Europe or Asia i would.
nope, im not that dedicated :P
YES! I would and have.
totally! i wanted to go to the one in paris last week but... a little too far =D hehe
yes and i do :) i loooveee music festivals
I have; just one, though. And not in the US.
Is a cruise really better than flying?
I have come to the conclusion that going on one of those great luxury
cruise ships is actually worth all the money as well as being a lot
better than taking a plane there. Why is it that it is better than
flying?

i would go if i had the money and if my parents allowed me to go out of the country w/o them! :(
YES YES YES!!!
I'll fly right away when I have enough money =D It's one of my dreams to attend to a music fest in Europe <3
Probably not. Only if it's a couple of miles away... not across the country.
yup.Right now in the UK,we are currently having the Glastonbury music festival, which is the largest performing arts festival in the world.Considered going this year, but didn't fancy camping and also, there have been several reports of swine flu cases.
Sensation White & Sensation Black...heck yes I would travel for those. So many festivals/parties I would love to attend
I would of course travel for music. Especially if it involves holidays!
I've traveled to Nashville twice for the annual CMA Music Festival (Fan Fair). I live in NY. It's an 18 hour drive, and I would DEFINITELY do it again!
Heck yes I'd travel. I went all the way to New Orleans for the Voodoo Music Festival. Not my favorite music festival that I've ever been to, there was tons of people there but the experience of being in NOLA was awesome.
I'm going to Benicassim music festival in Spain, travelling from England :D
Can't wait - Headliners are Kings of Leon, Killers, Oasis, Franz Ferdinand and Paul Weller.
Oh I'm excited.
No and no.
No and no.
My friends and I went out of state for Warped Tour. It was the best part of my summer. We are doing it again this year too!
yessss! Summer '07 my friends and I traveled a day and a half by greyhound from NYC to chicago, stopping in pittsburgh and cleveland just to get to lollapalooza. I did it mostly for pearl jam. What a great trip that was! Except the busses sucked.Â
Don't waste your time if you don't like the line up. Summerfest isn't what it used to be. I would definately travel for a music festival.
