Why Do You Wear the Clothes You Do?
Different people wear different things. Different cultures wear different things. Why do you wear the clothes you do? Style? Modesty? Culture? Religious group?
What is your normal wardrobe that you wear everyday?
Does culture affect what you wear? Are you scared to wear something because of what people might think or because they might mistake you for a certain religion?
Do you choose outfits because they are in style? What brand they are? How do you decide what you will wear or won't wear? If it is modesty, then what is modest? Do you avoid any styles to avoid being classified as a certain group or do you choose clothes to be classified as a certain group?
I would love to hear your thoughts on why you wear the clothes you wear.

@Dare2BDiferentt@xanga - good requirement :) I have seen many many people in clothes that are either way too small for them or so big that their pants are down at their knees :)
I wear whatever flatters my hourglass figure and is interesting because I love looking cute and intriguing

Wow, that's a lot of questions. Most of the time I dress to suit the occasion. On the farm you can usually find me in shorts and a tee-shirt with coveralls over them. That way when I arrive at the door covered in crud I can easily slip off the coveralls and drop them in the laundry without having to parade naked through the house. In the city it's mostly jeans and t-shirts or summer dresses just for comfort and simplicity. If I am going hiking I wear hiking gear, If running then running gear, If swimming then swimwear etc... I generally dress to fit in with the others I will be around. I don't like to stand out or draw attention to myself. Clothing styles are not important to me so I can easily wear clothing that fits the group I will be with and it not bother me at all. I am not scared to wear anything for any reason... I'm not even scared to go nude partially or completely if the situation calls for it. I guess I simply like to make myself and others feel more at ease by dressing in a way that fits my surroundings and the people in them. I think the definition of modesty is defined by the culture you are a part of. My definition of modesty is to try not to dress, talk or act in a way that draws sexual attention to oneself. Honestly i'm not always modest...... In some cultures even the glimpse of an ankle or wrist might cause a man to be sexually aroused yet in other cultures toplessness or even complete nudity is not sexual at all.... I also said "try" because no matter how you dress, talk or act there will always be someone around who gets turned on by it....
because you can't find them anywhere else.

I wear the clothes I wear because I have no money to put toward revamping my wardrobe.
i wear what i wear because it's cheap, durable, and comfortable. and it's whatever i can find in the nearest cheap clothes selling store =P i care very little about what i wear
it's almost summer, and I'm in Seattle, from LA, and I always wait until summer! Also, I have no long sleeves. I love them.

Because they're the ones I have.
I have a pretty funky style...I wear what I do because it's usually fun, unique, and individual. I'm not someone who came out of a mold, and I'm not a copy of anyone else, and I like to show that in my style. I wear what inspires me, or what I feel like wearing, be it black or bright orange, a bowtie or fishnet gloves. Just whatever I happen to feel like wearing at the time.
i wear the clothes i wear because i like it and it's my style but not because someone asked me to.
I choose my outfits to reflect how im feeling that day and the occasion. I wear gray sweaters a lot, but I also like to wear really colorful and eccentric outfits. I love anything that is shiny.
weather and because they flatter.. and i like it!
comfortable, watever i can throw into the washer....
polo shirts with jeans/shorts on non working days, winkle free dress shirts and kahkis pants on working days....plain white tee is my favorite now, its cheap and i can get so many of them....
I wear the things I wear to be comfortable, to look alright, and so I don't die of heat stroke at my work. Pet stores get really hot in the summer. Got to love my shorts that go to my knees. That's the shortest I'll go.
I wear the clothes I wear b/c I think they are beautiful and I like them (most of the time anyway). When I am hanging out with my son I just wear something that fits and can be fumigated.
