  • How Well Do You Know Your Barbecue?

In honor of the warm months and approaching summer, many of us will be dusting off our grills and firing them up. However, what many people call a "barbecue" in reference to the cooking of food on a grill outdoors is, in fact, incorrect terminology! To elaborate on these crucial concepts, let us define and clarify the difference between the two.

Barbecue: To barbecue is to prepare food in a long/slow cooking manner over wood coals. Furthermore, it is not the device that you cook on nor is it a sauce.

Grilling: To grill is to cook over high heat in a short amount of time. Furthermore, it does not matter what heat source you use to cook.
