Street name signs~
I think the best one so far is the Ukata that a Japanese family gave me. It's very pretty and has come in handy for a couple of festivals I went to.
A 17th century silver and ruby dagger from Spain.
my best friend went to california when i was about 16. she came back with some stuff from a hot topic out there - i got 3 shirts and a nirvana poster. that was pretty cool. as for my travels, the coolest was probably a bouncy ball with a frog inside it that i got at a gas station in tennessee. i made my mom buy it for me because it was being sold under the name "frog balls" and i was a very goofy 13 year old then, lol
A silver medallion of my time in Portugal...
Twin samurai swords I found on the streets in Japan.
4 bottles of tequila and 1 bottle of kahlua (for FREE for staying in a resort) when I went to Mexico. I haven't tapped into them yet though.
postcards, football shirt (real madrid white one), fc barcelona.
never bought or gotten any souvenirs :*(
Stuffed animals. =]
paris picture frame =)
I love obnoxious, unexpected, and cheap sculptures.
I have a large statue of a rainbow parrot from Galveston, Texas. It was on sale after the hurricane (only $.50), because part of it was damanged. However, I don't really notice anything wrong with it - you can hear water when you shake it. Kind of sad what happened to that city. :(
Also, from Hawaii I bought a paper machete sculpture of this cat. It's pink and in really obnoxious, bright colors. It says Hawaii on it. I picked it up at a bong & hookah shop for $4.
I get so many compliments on both of these figurines. I love them :)
Postcards... because i collect them
HANDS DOWN, JAPANESE FOOD. =))
