Yeah, I was stopped because I brought the most delicious fruit back from France in my suitcase. I didn't know that you weren't allowed to bring back any foreign produce.

I have but with almost good reasons. My friends are all part of a karate team and I film it all and part of their team demos require weapons (fake ones of course, but weapons nonetheless) and of course they were all in my bag so we got super searched to the extreme for having SO many weapons. We did have permission though..

I've gotten the 'step aside, we need to 'wand' you' when I've forgotten to take my belt off...on one or two occasions.

but nothing more invasive than that.

Yes, they oh so nicely unpacked all my bags for me (I guess my camera case looked suspicious), and left them there for me to stuff everything back in and run to catch my plane!  Thanks guys!

    Yes! Twice >.<

Once in Vancouver .. MY OWN CITY, I got stopped for a random security screening.  It took like a good 20 minutes while they went through all of my stuff and patted me down... When i tried to joke around with the person searching me about how i hope everyone he has search wears deodorant .. they got even more mad at me!

Then more recently I got stopped in the Philippines because I got scammed by some lady in the airport.  They made me sit in this shady interrogation room while my dad yelled at security over the phone... long story short... I got back home safely.

I never get stopped. I generally get the wave through. Guess I just don't scare anybody much...

Last summer I went to Southern Mexico and had five lay overs between my home town and there.

I was stopped at every lay over and randomly searched. At least I didn't have to chuck away food and stuff like my dad :) Needless to say though, I'm not looking forward to the next time I have to fly.

I almost always get stopped at the airport.  And to date, ALL of my bags (carry-on AND checked bags) are always opened & screened by the TSA....I have no idea why.

My nine year old sister got stopped and she just gave me the bag and walked away.  I had to explain to the security guards why there was a horse-shoe in her back-pack. (We had visited the Amish and there was a little boy selling painted horse-shoes.. so we bought a few. They were alll in that bag.)

They were pretty understanding and nice about it though. And since I was the first of my family to get to checking, I didn't fall behind them.

Yeah, once... we were going to a wedding and had brought a lead-crystal bowl as a gift. Apparently lead-crystal sets off the machines...?
