Would You Travel Here? India
India is a country rich in culture in South Asia that is home to many amazing historical monuments such as the Taj Mahal located in Agra and also the Victorian Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Mumbai.
Aside from these monumuents India is a wonderful place for nature tourism.
Would you travel to India? What are some places you would want to visit there?

@bella_esperanza@xanga - I was trying to pretend to be a completely impartial third party outsider. Which failed now thanks to you. :P
@niikhita@xanga - It's not possible, with the pretty picture of you *cough*
@bella_esperanza@xanga - Aha, attempts at flattery will not soothe me. ;)
@niikhita@xanga - Being honest, is all.
with out a doubt.yes .if i could I would go right now.
Yes, I want to visit India... I would like to see as much of the country as possible.
no.. not until i can bring a troop of bodyguards with me hahaha.. bad experiences.
do you mean South Asia, not Southeast Asia?
YES! most definitely. it's actually one of my top 5 destinations (the other four being brazil, russia, china, and tanzania).
india is on the top of my list!
South Asia.
I'd go to Rajasthan and Mysore.
@niikhita@xanga - what places have you been to in India?
Been dreaming about going to the Taj Mahal for a long time. A friend and I are talking about taking a road trip through India.
For the food, for the people, for the Taj Mahal, for all the photos I will take and new experiences...
Yes, I am going to India!
*with or without my ex fiancee*
The Taj Mahal is beautiful. Definately, a place to see before I die.
@duckling8912@xanga - I live here, so I have been to a lot of places in India. :)
Of course I would. I would much rather see the normal places everyday people go to. Grand historical site are not going to give you an understanding of the country or the culture. They are sanitized to appeal to the masses.
india's great ... loved our first visit last year for 4 weeks and am returning this year for 5 more.
india's great. loved the 4 weeks we spent travelling the west coast this year and am planning 5 more this year.
The country side of India (especially in the North in the mountains) is simply the most beautiful place on earth. Top that up with getting away from the crowded cities and seeing people smile constantly (which you don't see in the city as much) makes you know you are "close to the gods".
India is definitely on my list of places I want to travel to.
In a heartbeat! I've dreamed of going to India for years and years, and I'm still holding out hope that one day, I'll get to visit. Right now might not be the best time, considering the attacks in recent history, but then again, it's a huge country--I'm sure there are areas that are safer, and areas that are not as safe. It's just a matter of having a flexible itinerary and a close eye on the State Department's travel advisories.
