Yes! Of course One of them that I remember most is a girl I met on our four-hour flight back from Hong Kong to our home country, and we've not met since then (2006), but we're in touch! She studies in Germany, but I think she's back home now after finishing her degree.

Another two friends I met on my travels are Japanese girls. We met on a four-hour bus trip from Madrid to Granada in 2007! And we've not seen each other since then either, but we're still in touch. In fact, one of them may be coming to visit me here in December. WOOHOOOOOOOOOO.

And of course, when I was studying in Spain, I made many more friends, though I only keep in touch with one or two on a regular basis.

As you can see, I love love making new friends. And I can't wait to meet them all again!

Yes!  Went on a Contiki tour that traveled all over Europe.  Made some good friends from Australia who I still keep in touch with!

  • chPanda@xanga

Yea, but it's really hard to keep in touch with them.

I totally love making friends on trips, it's one of the best parts! I do agree with the fact that it's hard to keep in touch, especially if they're in another time zone. :-\

Yea, for sure.....it's a wonderful experience to find new friends in different parts of the world.....but at times you may not be able to keep in touch....

Yeah, a lot! I still keep in touch with most of them through the Internet.

Yup, it's great meeting people when you travel but it's definitely hard to keep in touch.

yeah but i've lost touch with a few.  its a pity really cause one of them was really nice and friendly while the other was basically what i call a male b****

personally i think the male b**** was jealous his friend was nice to me.

I wish I have. I always travel with family, and it`s just a bit awkward when your entire conversation can be overheard by a parent or sibling. But then again, what are the chances that you`ll keep in touch long enough to meet up again?
