I wasn't scared. I didn't mind.
yes a few times, the worst one I think was going to New York or the starting point of our coach tour, it made me nearly jump out of my seat even with a seatbelt on, the holiday in America and Canada.
Yes, it was very scary, and I hope to never experience it again. I think I like staying here on the ground.
yeah a million times. it's turbulence
yes 10 out of 20 flights i had some kind of turbulence. probably more because i love to sleep in the plane:P
Yes, one time flying out of Nagoya Centaire in a really bad storm. It wasn't really scary but it was pretty amazing.
I think almost every flight involves a bit of minor turbulence. Only once has it ever gotten rough enough that it bothered me though, and that was in a very tiny plane.
Yea, I was freaking out... I saw a women jump to the ceiling.
yeah, but we had to be in our seats with the seat belt on so i wasnt scared plus it wasnt that bad of a turbulance. its bad when your in the restroom...putting on make-up. not that i've had that kind of experience before haha.
yeah, it was a really really big bump, but it was kind of exciting, not scary :)
Really bad turbulance once on Garuda Indonesia, also one time flying one a short flight in New Zealand..people were throwing up etc. Nothing major though.
I have definitely experienced some turbulance. The worst was being hungover and having horrible turbulence, that and the time we flew through the thunder storm were the worst. But I wasn't really scared at all
my friend's drink spilled all over him
The last time I was on a plane was last summer, coming home from a trip to florida with my two friends for one of their sweet 16's.
We had some turbulance on the ride but not too much. Most of it was actually before we landed, and it actually messed up the landing a bit and bouncing the plane off the ground a few times on the landing strip. A lot of people were concerned about it, and as I got up to leave afterward I noticed that the 18-year old looking males that were sitting behind my friend and I had their hands clenched to the armrest. I however thought it was actually pretty fun, and I was very excited and laughing. My friends were sort of freaked out about it though, and didn't think that my mood was appropriate. haha XD
Yes which is the reason I hate to fly now. It was my first flight too! I remember I had a hat that I hid my screams in...didn't work. by the time we landed my hat had a hole in it i was in tears worse then being on a roller coaster which I don't ride either! I have a really sensitive stomach =(
Yeah.
Almost always. I seldom fly, or even travel, but there's usually turbulance. But I actually returned from a spring break excursion to Massachusettes earlier this week.
Worst was on a trip to New York City. I was seated next to my pastor (servanthood trip), and we were both kind of startled. Then from a couple of rows ahead of us, adolescent/college guys (hard to tell sometimes):
"THAT WAS AWESOME!"
"All a matter of persepective," my pastor replied.
Yes. I'm on planed pretty often so it had to happen sooner or later.
I never felt myself comfortable on a plane ride even without turbulence at all. By the way you spelled turbulance wrong.
Duh...lol
Turbulence...at least once every flight.
It's slightly unnerving, but I trust the engineers who designed and built the aircraft to withstand the stresses on the wings and airframe caused by turbulence
.
I'm scared of air traffic control accidents if anything.
I can't think of a single flight I've taken that didn't have turbulence. I've had flights where the plane shook for the entire time, and I've had flights where the plane dropped for a second or two. Not a big deal, it happens.
Little planes get hit harder by the turbulence, and are much more fun.
never minded it until once when i was flying into Vegas and right before we touched down we caught a downdraft that dropped us over 30 ft in less than a second. the pilot pulled up, took off again, and circled around to try again. everyone cheered when we landed for his quick reflexes... we were less than 10 ft from the landing gear smashing onto the runway...
Yup. I assumed that we were about to make a water "landing." I said a prayer and held on for dear life. Moments later, it was over - nothing but smooth!
When I took a small commerical transfer flight on my way to California. We experienced some turbulence after we took off.
It was only a little bit of turbulance, but I was scared out of my mind. I'm a wimp.
