yes always. it's like the only thing i do on long flights. it's good for down time too.. when you've spent the whole day outside hiking and then you come back to your hotel for the afternoon, it's nice to just chill with a book. i make sure to bring at least five for a five day trip, and my sister brings a bunch too, so we don't run out. we love to read!
always... sometimes more than a bunch of them and i finish them all.
of course. sometimes I bring too much haha but I love reading =]
I'm going on a trip next month to Vietnam...I'm bringing a book because I know my DS will die out on me.
Most definitely. I need something to occupy my mind if I can't sleep and have a horrible case of air-sickness. Besides, books make up for the lack of excitement on some of my trips =]. Hahaha.
I used to..but now every time I read anything in the car, I get a huge headache :(
No but I always take some puzzle books to keep me busy for a few hours per day.
Yes! :) It gets very boring just staring at a computer screen or listening to my ipod for hours, so I just open my book up & read :)
I usually take a reference book with me, and like to buy books during trips. I got good books from the Yellow stone, Grand Canyon and Olympic National parks. I like watching movies, listening to music, enjoying food or planning the trips on the planes.

refreshes perspective and mind for new sights and places away from home. good to keep in the car too in case one blows up at work or needing a little time-out.
All the time. There's nothing better than to have a book to read to pass boring hours on trips.
I always take two magazines, The Week (light reading), Scientific American (heavier but still digestable), my travel journal, and a paperback novel. I almost always find my seat mate more interesting than my reading material.
@anne - Thanks for the reccommendation. I'm going to order it (The Time Travelers Wife) immediately. The title sounds interesting.
yes! i feel dumb if i quit reading.
@judyrutrider@xanga - that's great! I hope you like it. everyone has different tastes in books, but hopefully ours is the same so you won't be mad at me. haha.
yeah, on the plane. i wouldnt be reading anything cause that would be wasting a perfectly good vacation. pleasures and books just dont go hand in hand.
@anne - If I like it as much as you do, I'll send you a list of my favorites. If not, no harm done; books are cheap on abe.com.

Sure! A boring book is still much better than a boring seat neighbour...
Always. I'm a bookworm.
Nope. I HATE reading.
I can't read in a moving vehicle but I bring a book or two along to have on hand for long waits.
Usually, although the last couple of times I failed to read them. I'm going to try to read The Time Traveler's Wife soon (had that book forever)
I used to when I was younger. It's something that I probably will do on my next trip.
@Roadlesstaken@xanga - That's my favorite book.
Get a move on!
