Yes! I don't know which my favorite is though. So many to pick from.
Not sure which one is my favorite, but my most recent one, the Museum of Sex, was one of the more memorable ones I've been to haha.
i love museums
I absolutely love museums, specifically those of modern/contemporary arts. History museums are pretty cool, but it depends on the specific historical artifacts being featured. Historical art can bore me easily, mostly because I've seen it all before. There is always something different at a contemporary art museum, because it's contemporary. That's what I love.
The Smithsonian Natural History museum is fantastic. Also, the National Air and Space museum in Dayton Ohio is pretty great as well.
Museum of Tolerance.
Oh, yes! I am a history junkie.
As a matter of fact, my fiancé and I are going to the Smithsonian for our honeymoon.
Favorite is anything Air and Space.
yes I do..my favourites are Uffizi in Florence and the Science And Technology Museum in Munich, Germany..
Visit, heck - I pretty much live in them. As for a favorite: perhaps the Museo Archaeologico Nazionale in Florence? Or the Vatican Museum? Tough call.
Yes! Wax Museum in NYC has always been a favorite =P
I like to visit museums but I don't have one that is my favorite. Some that I would like to visit again are Tokugawa Art Museum in Nagoya, The Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, The Amber Museum in Pureto Plata DR, Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids Michigan, Chucalissa Archaeological Museum - Memphis, and the list goes on and on...
@echois23@xanga - Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids Michigan is the best! I'm from Grand Rapids, so it has a special place in my heart. I loved their Chihuly exhibit several years ago.
Most definitely! Art and art history fanatic!
@methodElevated@xanga - It is an amazing place. I catered a wedding there so I didn't have time to see the whole thing but what I saw was amazing. I have always wanted to go back.
I love museums. As a Chicagoland native, I'd have to say my favorite is the Field Museum of Natural History--I've walked through their Egyptian pyramid hundreds of times, and it never gets old! The Museum of Science and Industry is a close, close second.
yeah all the time, there are two just down the street from my school and we get free admission
getty museum at Los Angeles! it's free but the foopd is super expensive
No, but I might one day, if I go anywhere else with a museum worth visiting.
I have. Not recently though. One the things to do before I die is to visit the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia, PA.
yes, their actually very entertaining and knowledgeable. i used to think museums were for nerds...boy was i wrong.
Yupz. Especially those in other countries. it allows me to know more about their country culture..etc.
Yes I do like visiting musums.
I love visiting museums!!
@Roadlesstaken@xanga - I've been there! The one in Amsterdam? It was strange going up those narrow, tilted stairs to the second floor.
Of course, the Louvre in Paris is the ultimate, but there are some lovely small museums that are worth a look too: The Norton Simon in Pasadena, CA is world class and The Getty in LA is worth the price of admission too. (That's a joke, there's no admission charge, or there wasn't when I was there a few years ago.) I was disappointed in the Prado in Madrid. It was shabby and the staff were (was?) decidely unfriendly.
