No. I was afraid to miss my flight, so I didn't. =\
Yeah, I got stuck at the DFW scareport overnight coming back from San Jose, Costa Rica. I got to spend 12 hours there. Lucky me!
I have plenty of times.
@FunnymanGeorge@xanga - Heyyy, Is Costa Rica cheap to vacation? As in...food, lodging, is cheaper?
Since I've been traveling around the world for 28 years, yep, too many times too count!
Yes! I slept at the car parking lot of the Ronald Reagan airport the night before Obama's inauguration in DC. We had to get up at 3 AM to head out to the Mall so we decided not to spend the overly priced $300+ for a hotel room and just sleep in the car.
I did, well, not exactly. Two times during my last euro trip. The first time was in London Stansted Airport... My flight was in the early morning...and there wasn't any train could get there before the departure time, plus we didn't want pay to stay a nite in a hostel...so we stayed at the airport…and loads of people did the same thing as well...but I was the only one who couldn't sleep.
The second time was in Milan...same stupid reason. Even more people staying in the airport comparing to the previous experience..but this time...there was no seat available, so all of us had to laid on the ground. I was still the only one couldn't fall asleep even I was dead tired.
oooh yes! so many times. the longest sleep was probably in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
@oOBuBBLes711Oo@xanga - It CAN be... there are a few ways to do it. When I went I was a part of a student group so we got student rates on everything which was nice. Then about 5 years ago I looked into going again and you can do it for not tons of money IF you're willing to get off the beaten path. If you do decide to book a trip, please consider using: http://cleandesign.rovia.com to handle your booking.

Yes, last june on the way to africa. It was terrible because one of the girls I was with lost her passport right before we got on the LAST plane to London. We all ended up missing the flight and had to sleep on chairs in the terminal. It was AWESOME! not!
not yet... but will be real soon for the upcoming trip in less than 2 weeks, and it will be in Calgary, Canada!
no. thank god. listening to music, reading, people watching, eating are all good ways to pass time. its a good thing too cause that would probably mean the flight was either delayed or canceled so its a good thing i never slept at any airports.
No, I havent. But I have seen some people did so, and that seemed fun to me lolz
Yes, in a restaurant in Madrid's Barajas Airport, Terminal 4! It was fun. Hahahah.
No, but I wouldn't mind. Cell phone alarm clocks are great, aren't they?
yes...
Many, many, many times...
unfortunately, yes! :P stuck in hong kong airport 32 hrs b/c of a typhoon (aka hurricane)..i can deal with the awkward sleeping arrangements across a row of chairs, but the awakening to a random marriage proposal at 3ish am from creepy short man from ghana? not so much. and wanting one of my beautiful, tall friends when i refused didn't help matters any, either..!
i won't bother going into details of how he tried to sell himself, either.......i'm sure you get the idea ;)
