Are These Ladyboys Hotter Than You?
Pictured above is the Thai pop sensation Venus Flytrap. They are arguably the most unique band in the world. Why? The group is made up of five young kathoeys or more commonly known as ladyboys. Yup, these seemingly attractive group of girls are actually men!
You may be shocked to hear this but in Thailand this wasn't earth shattering news. Though the term kathoey may be considered derogatory, it's meaning would be similar to the terms "fairy" or "queen", Ladyboys are generally accepted in Thai culture. Many of them work in beauty salons, coffee shops, and are even seen in entertainment. Several popular Thai movie stars and models are ladyboys. They are so popular that they even hold beauty contests!
The scary thing is just how much these men really look like women. I'm just glad that I'm not a single male living in Thailand. Can you imagine going on your third date with this hot girl and after a heavy make out session she leans over to you and says, "By the way, I'm a dude." Talk about awkward! I'm glad I live in the states where some of the drag queens look like this:

Yeah, I went to a show in Thailand that was something about these guy-girls. Haha, a really funny inside joke resulted from that show, too. Mostly because I fell asleep and had a weird dream, but I digress...
I don't want to guess which ones are guys. They make me feel bad. Hahaha.
Does anyone remember the second Bridget Jones movie? Where Hugh Grant was all like, "I spent the night with a very beautiful Thai girl, which happened to be a very beautiful Thai boy." Hahhh. Good times.

Wow..I've heard about this. I can honestly say that if I am walking down the street of Thailand I wouldn't know which one is a real woman and which is a ladyboys.
1 and 2 are ladyboys and 3 is a real lady?

Very interesting! I have no idea which are which, they're all pretty.
*jealous* some of those girls look better than me. the white lady (third picture from top) is scary. she actually scared me when i came upon her picture. first picture from the bottom up is a guy. the last one from the bottom up has got to be a girl. shes pretty so is the girl sitting down in the venus flytrap picture. im amazed at how some of them have such slender arms for being born a guy.
but at times you really have to admit that these ladyboys are really much prettier than some of the authentic ladies we have! although scary at the thought of it! ha!

Like may females have posted, they look WAY too hawt to be guys... It can actually lower a woman's self esteem to see something like that. It's bad enough to compete against another female for a male's attention... Sure there is a fun novelty to all this, but once that wears off...
I can only imagine how a guy would feel to run across one of them, asked them out, find a place to boink and discover Capt'n woody!
But than again, if your guy leaves you for one, just to discover she's a he, the jokes on him, yes?
I think they're all beautiful, and knowing that they're men doesn't make them any less beautiful to me.
I'll never forget my run in with the thai ladyboys. Oh my poor brother, talking about how attractive to waitresses were. It was only after he bought a drink for a "girl" when he noticed the adam's apples. Hah!
Phuket, I can't recall the name of the alley nickname, but they are evvvvverywhere. It was so strange, but I couldn't turn away! They put on these really elaborate shows, ladyboys hanging and dancing on balconies. Extremely flamboyant and colorful. Feather boas, heavy makeup.
I spoke with a couple of them, I think I have pictures somewhere....
But true enough, some of them are absolutely convincing.
Is it the second one the ladyboy?
