this post is making me hungry... we eat mostly white rice. my mom absolutely hates brown rice so i don't think our family's eating habits are likely to change any time soon. me, i don't really care what color it is as long as it tastes good! mexican, indian, chinese rice... it doesn't matter to me if the dish(es) that comes with it covers the rice, then i don't notice the difference between brown or white
I prefer white rice.
I love brown and white rice.....now I am hungry.
I love brown rice
never had brown rice...lol. we just don't eat it. always eat white rice. LOL. i'd like to try brown rice...see what it tastes like.
We eat rice all the time... always white.
I like all rice. White, brown, yellow, or black, they are all good to me.
i've never eaten brown rice before but i always eat white rice...hmm i think i eat whole grains so i'm good ^.~ i think there must be a reason why my parents haven't chosen to eat brown rice so i won't question them...
i've never eaten brown rice.
i really love rice though...
i shall try brown rice soon
i love brown rice!
If it's sticky, I'm not picky. :D
love plain white rice with water!! not really fond of the typical "brown rice" but i love "golden rice" aka my mom has a rice patty and we get fresh rice from the patty, unrefined!
I like white rice. I've tried brown rice before but I never really acquired a taste for it.
I have eaten different type of rice. But it wasn't brown, it was black. Yes, I said it I have eaten white rice with black rice mixed together. My mom said "You shouldn't eat plain white rice because it just to sweet." So I have white rice mix with some else but this time it's black rice. But it give the white rice mixed with black rice a different color rice. Actually make my rice turn purple which I thought how funny.
I prefer brown rice to white myself. They taste better as paella.
I always wondered why Vietnamese people don't eat brown rice instead of white rice. My family have always eaten white rice - so I can't stand the texture and taste of brown rice. While I know that brown is better than white - I still can't make the switch.
My dad switched to brown rice for awhile, b/c he was worried about his health, and I tried brown rice too - but I just can't get into it.
*sigh*
@VampireEdwardCullen@xanga - They do taste better as paella!!! Maybe I should use that to help me switch completely to brown rice.
We eat mostly white rice here in Vietnam. I've eaten brown rice for a couple of times, and it tasted good. But well, I still like white rice better. Guess I'm too used to the color :)
us Filipinos eat teh white rice. xD
We both white and brown (integral) rice, although we usually eat brown. Â The white rice is more for Mexican dishes that call for white rice. Â
I mix! the brown rice's texture is really hard and not smushy like white rice, so I mix 1/4 brown and 3/4 white.
I prefer brown rice.
Then what does white rice have? I think you forgot to put what do white rice provide for us. Since it's White Rice Vs. Brown Rice you didn't put nothing for white rice.
I'll try brown rice. If it tastes good, I'd like to switch white rice to brown rice.
Used to eat white rice, now we get brown rice
