QOTD: Where Would You Go to Get Away From it All?
We all have a place (or type of place) that we dream of going when we get sick of our everyday lives.
What would that place be for you? Where would you go to get away from it all?

New York City
Closer to home the dentist chair or going to college.
Heaven.
A cruise to Alaska, just my sister and I.
My room.
Disney World. It might sound crazy to you, but to me, this place is truly away from reality and it's the one place where I can totally forget about real world worries, etc., and just be a kid at heart all over again. My favorite place to stay there is the club level (Castle View) at the Polynesian. There's nothing like sitting on the patio of your room watching the fireworks over Cindy's castle and sipping coffee there watching the sun rise. It really does bring peace to me.
I prefer wilderness areas for my great escapes... mountains, remote ocean beaches, deserts...... somewhere that it can just be God, me, and nature.... ~Echo
I live near the beach so I like to go there. It's nice to just sit on the bench, turn on my ipod and watch the sunrise (or sunset).
Sailing... south pacific, caribbean, anywhere nice.

I totally agree!
But, I think he's talking of worldly locations.
I would go where I feel "at home". For me that may be a park, a beach, or lying on the couch with a good fantasy book and music playing in the background.
puerto vallarta, mexico.
Aside from the extreme heat in the summer, it's a great spot.
Anywhere where beauty is there..and makes me want to sit there and just look and think.
Sunsets and reflections. and Old places. the ocean. Just nature..even sitting in fields is like beauty for me..
I want to go to South Africa cape town xD.
hawaii or okinawa. both are relaxing, beautiful and comforting.
Wickaninnish Inn, Torfino, British Columbia, Canada.
I'd go there during the early Spring storm time (right about now, actually) and just hang out, enjoy the fury of the Pacific Ocean storms, and revel in the power of nature.
Some island somewhere, anywhere. Hawaii would be pretty nice.
I like those tiny islands with isolated huts.
I agree with echois except for the God part. I want to be somewhere without people, or with one or two close friends/my boyfriend.
I would go away to Lombok (one of the islands here in Indonesia), it's just a beautiful place. My fiance and I are madly in love with it and we're thinking in having our honeymoon there.
white sandy beaches.
Galway, in Ireland. Or the primary school down the road. I like brooding on the playgrounds.
Honolulu!
