The Yorkshire Dales - Road Trip on the Way to Scotland
Guest post submitted by Neeka1
As we traveled up to Scotland, a sign saying, "Welcome to The Lake District" came up. Now, sorry to say, we never saw any lakes - probably because we travelled up on the Motorway.
In front of us, was the most amazing sight... this is part of the Yorkshire Dales, one of the places I really want to stop and holiday at.
I want you to imagine, as you see these pics- now c'mon, I know you can- that you are travelling with me. And these Gentle Giants are all around us. My pics do not do them justice. They totally overshadowed us and were all around us. It was absolutely breathtaking!!!! I would love to take a drive through here on a bike.
I am so glad I didn't crop these photos and take all the traffic out! What on earth would we discuss if it wasn't for the driving on the wrong side of the road.

Let's begin:
Psalm 145
Praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD from the heavens,
praise him in the heights above.
Praise him all his angels,
Praise him all his heavenly hosts.Praise him, sun and moon,
praise him, all you shining stars.
Praise him, you highest heavens
and you waters above the skies.Let them praise the name of the LORD,
for he commanded and they were created.
He set them in place for ever and ever;
he gave a decree that will never pass away.Praise the LORD from the earth,
you great sea creatures and all ocean depths,
lightning and hail, snow and clouds,
stormy winds that do his bidding,you mountains and all hills,
fruit trees and all cedars,
wild animals and all cattle,
small creatures and flying birds, kings of the earth and all nations,
you princes and all rulers on earth,young men and maidens,
old men and children.
Let them praise the name of the LORD,
for his name alone is exalted;
his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
He has raised up for his people a horn,
the praise of all his saints,
of Israel, the people close to his heart.
Praise the LORD.Have you been on a roadtrip and were able to see some awesome views?

@inadee@xanga - This is true. I think what the author meant, was that they drove through the Dales on their way to Scotland.
