The Perks of Working in NYC - Seeing Your Favorite Artist!
Guest post submitted by black_lie
This summer, I am working in New York City on Broadway, about three blocks away from TimesSquare. So after work today, I went to Virgin Records to pick up Jason Mraz's new album.
On the way, I could not believe my eyes when I realized that one of my favorite artists, JULIAN BEEVER,was working on a sidewalk chalk masterpiece!!
He was doing it as a publicity stunt for the grand opening of a new Levis Jeans store in Times Square. At first I thought they were filming a commercial because part of the sidewalk was fenced off and there were all these bright lights and cameras. BUT IT WAS JULIAN BEEVER, OMG!
The artist himself

Dude standing on top of a skyscraper... Not an illusion!!Here it is on the projector screen. Incidentally, that is my camera's 9999th undelieted picture.
I never thought I'd see one of his works in person, let alone the artist himself. Mind boggling, I tell ya! Too bad the forecast says rain though.Have you ever bumped into one of your favorite artists or celebrities in person?

O.o I go to school in times square lol, but I never got to see any interesting people. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough, if at all? (:
Glad for you though!
wow, you guys didn't exactly do a great job of editing this. "Not an illusion!" was supposed to be "NOT! It's an illusion!" Think Borat jokes.
Also you introduced a typo! "undelieted"?? Hahaha....
@tweekiki - I'm from HK too! Hehe maybe one day he will go there.
@KiraWuzHerexD@xanga - really? Times Square is full of interesting people, it's hard not to see them!
@black_lie@xanga - Lol, mainly I see hoboes and tourists. I don't know (:
