Vacation Dilemma: Relatives or Resort?
When visiting a country where your relatives live, do you opt to stay at a resort or do you prefer rooming with the family?

Since I dont know any relatives which live in another country, maybe in another city in the country where I live, I sometimes prefer to explore some of the city on my own and rooming around with the these relatives as well in the city.
RELATIVES! Firstly, I get to see them, and secondly, it's free!
The first is important because how often do I get to see them, if they're in a different country?
I wouldn't like to bother my relatives if I can afford the hotel.
I prefer to stay in a resort... if I can't afford it, I think will give up the journey...
relatives, strangers, or hostels, any'll do. the only time ive ever stayed at a hotel was when i didnt have to pay for it. or once a resort in poland when it was necessary
because my team was running a childrens conference there so we stayed in the building as well. my favoritefavorite though, is neither resort nor relatives, but couchsurfing.com!
relatives if it isn't trouble to them and if they're close to where we're visiting. when we go to china we often visit relatives but sometimes their homes are too small for all of us to stay, so the kids live in the homes while the adults get hotel rooms. yay family bonding!
relatives cause my relatives are nice and they dont mind besides i dont stay for a long time anyways with the exception of this time. what are relatives for :)
