    Longest trip for me is to Spain (from Malaysia)! 15-hour flight, six-hour time difference (Malaysia is ahead). I stayed there for 40 marvellous days. Wish I could go back!

    Las Vegas, once when I was 4 by train to see my grandparents, again by plane at around 8 yrs old, both times for about a week.  Then again at 22 for my honeymoon, for 4 days.

    It's only been three weeks.  I've been away from home for a couple of months as well.

    longest trip was to Virginia, stayed with some cousins there for 3 weeks. i was completely bored out of my mind there (sorry if you're from virginia).. i think it's probably because my cousins didn't have time to take me sightseeing. So, instead I "worked" at their restaurant for 2 weeks, until my mom finally came and spent the last week in nyc and new jersey.

    Farthest distance and longest time away from home was when I studied abroad in Rome for 4 months. Before that...3 days at sleepaway camp.

    I live in the United Kingdom,  19 days in America and Canada in 2008,  this was a coach tour and we saw a lot during the 15 days plus we had an extra four days in New York City.

    I went to China for fifteen days once. That was pretty far/long.

    From Seattle, Washington, USA, to Tehran, Iran, hell on earth for women.  It was supposed to be a 3-month visit, but it turned out they meant to keep me forever.  I don't keep well.  I'm ornery that way and gave them hell in exchange for their efforts.  So I finally got to leave after a year.  In retrospect, I'm lucky they didn't kill me. I'm sure I was a spectacular pain in the ass.  *GRIN*

    I consider both Hong Kong and NJ my homes, so anywhere I go, I'm never too far from either place! Haha. I guess the furthest from both my homes is Hawaii. The furthest from HK is probably France, and the furthest from NJ is Indonesia.

    @bella_esperanza@xanga - 15 hours is a killer.

    My longest flight was from Kuala Lumpur to London, about 14 hours if I remember correctly, and I was there for about 2 weeks.

    My longest away from home was Perth, Western Australia for 4 months at a time over a period of 2 years (i had to come home during breaks, I was so homesick + it was cheap for me since I travelled on a staff discount).

    Mmm, it's been almost a year since I've been in any city longer than 3 months at a time, so home is getting pretty subjective... I just got back from Europe where I traveled around England and worked for 3 months in Amsterdam, and the rest of the time has been divided between st .louis, nashville, chicago, kansas city, and nyc, where I am now - but I'll soon be off to Washington, DC. and then Toronto, Ontario in Canada, and hopefully before April I'll make it over to L.A. and then hit up Mexico. So... it's been awhile. So far it seems I go back home every few months.

    i feel like i just talked about myself for a really long time. gross.

    When I was in fourth grade, my family and I visited a family friend in Pennsylvania, and we went to Niagra Falls. it was lots of fun :)

    From New Hampshire to the Scottish Borders for six weeks. I explored, hung around, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
