Meet the Tripcrazed Team: Anne
27, New York, NY Favorite places I've visited: Trick question! I've been to so many amazing places, but if I absolutely had to pick, I'd settle on a couple places to shorten the list. Madrid, Spain because that's where I did my study abroad program when I was 18 and it was there that the travel bug bit me so hard it left a scar. I haven't been the same since. And Vietnam. That's where my family is from. Although, I'm Vietnamese American, I never actually visited Vietnam until I was 26. It was an awesome experience to learn about my family's history and I was quite pleased to show off my vietnamese language skills to the locals. It's quite a big deal for an american-born.
Places I'm dying to see: I'm dying to finish off my list of all the wonders of the world. I'm dying to go on a cruise to see the Alaskan coast. I'm dying and waiting for my Japanese American best friend to take me to Japan to visit her parents' hometown and meet some of her family. I'm dying to see Greece after watching Mama Mia the movie and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, and Ireland after watching P.S. I Love You. I'm really dying to see everything so bad it hurts!
Random things I like: Captain Jack Sparrow (he's just oh so cool), Chuck Norris Facts, the smell of a grapple (it's the fruit that looks like an apple, but tastes like a grape), reading Mancouch posts, laughing 'til my tummy aches, crying happy tears, dancing in my underwear to Pink songs, air guitaring, crowd surfing, Post Secret, the Australian accent, the Ellen Degeneres Show, my husband being a comic book nerd (even though I make fun of him to his face), and uber hot teenage vampires.
Greece looks so amazing, it makes me want to join a sisterhood.

I would like to go back to Greece on holiday sometime in the next couple of years.
you do have to visit Greece! and there is really no time like as soon as you can.
Things there are still affordable. It's the getting there that will cost you, but after that, it's like a free vacation.
It's one of those places that really does look and feel just like it does in the pictures. When you go. Go to the Island of Korfu. It is often overlooked, due to the proximity of the mainland and the ferry route from Italy.

@bdwofford@xanga - Ooh, you've got me more excited about Greece. It looks just like it does in the movies?! Yay! And I'm glad to know things are still affordable during these bad times. =)
