Almeria (Spain) I was only three at time, all I can remember even though we got photos is there were lots of dogs.
United Kingdom outside of my home city was Scarborough or it could have been Great Yarmouth. I dont really remember since we did Norfolk and Wales when I was younger, for one of them I remember cutting my forehead open in a supermarket.
2 or 3 years old, to Dallas, Texas to visit my aunt and uncle. I don't really remember anything, but my family has home videos so it's pretty wild to watch me waddle around in TX. I remember past trips to Dallas when I was older and I loved it. Last time I was there, though, I was about 10 or so. I need to go back sometime. There's this mall with an underground arcade. I doubt the arcade is open anymore, what with arcades disappearing like dinosaurs.
There are home movies of me at 2 or 3 in Colorado, carrying a fishing pole three times as tall as me, but I don't remember that at all. The earliest one I remember was another family camping trip, and what I remember was traveling in the back of the packed Rambler station wagon--my brothers took up the back seat.
The first trip I planned for myself was probably a visit to my parents from grad school, joining them at their vacation home in Colorado. First time I was on a plane!
Probably wasn't even a year old, and I'm willing to bet money it was an away Georgia football game. ha
I don't remember much about my first trip because I was only a week old at the time. But I think I remember my parents telling me that we went to Singapore.
As far back as I can remember from pics* I was 4 years old and went to Banff, Canada
My 1st trip was probably to IN either that or NC.
Florida.. I went when I was 17..
It was my first plane ride and I got to find out that I hate planes so much.
DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!
i went to washington state when i was five. i remember i loved the plane and i screetched with joy when it took off (all the other people on the plane gave me dirty looks, hehe).
i moved to the united arab emirates from philippines for a few months when i was toddler.
they were in desperate need of nurses & my mom volunteered.it was her chance to get out of philippines... and hopefully move to america.where i live now.=] thanks mom!
My first trip the walls started to melt and I crawled under my bed where I had a wonderful conversation with a piece of lint for three hours. Wait, what?
@tvPUFF - lol exactly what I was thinking when I saw this post .. streaks of purple and a GIANT freakin bug
I don't remember my first trip. I was four months old and my parents packed my twin brother, my older brother and I and the dog into a minivan and drove from Philadelphia out to Wyoming/Colorado/New Mexico. This lasted about a month and a half. Mom was still on maternity leave.
The first vacation I remember was when I was five and we drove from Philadelphia to Maine and basically explored New England. All I remember is the view from one campsite in Maine and sitting in the car on a highway going through the mountains (I want to say in New Hampshire) and sitting in traffic because a fullsized van in front of us had crashed. I might remember a trip to New York that occurred before then but that also might have happened later. Can't be quite sure.

LOVED It
Southern California when I was 5 years old. My dad, grandma, cousin, and I took the Amtrak Southwest Chief train from Chicago to LA to visit my great aunt and her daughters in Riverside. We were there for a couple weeks and did so much! We hiked up Mount Rightwood, went to Disneyland, San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Universal Studios, Corona Del Mar Beach, and even Joshua Tree National Park (though it was just a monument back then). It was so much fun, and it was my first "big" trip. My dad made a scrapbook for me with all the pictures we took and the drawings I made on the trip. I'll never forget it!
When I was about 4 we went to Wales. Not the most exciting holiday place but yeah.
My first place away from the British Iles was when I was 8 and we went to Lanzarotte. What a lovely place =]
Calgary to Vancouver, I was three, apparently had a killer earache.
My first trip abroad however was France when I was fourteen. THAT was amazing, I only wish that we had spent more time in Paris.
@tvPUFF@xanga - LOLOLOLOL that makes me so very happy!
