Do you remember your first time on a plane?
Guest blog by Kash
I remember my first time on a plane. It was to the United States as a 6 year old. It was amazing to go from a village no one ever heard of to the greatest city in the world, NYC.
Do you remember the first time you were on a plane? Where did you go?

I dont remember much about my first plane trip on the way there, my parents took me and my sister (I was 3 and my sister had her 2nd birthday) we went to Almeria (Spain)
I dont remember much about the flight back from Almeria, apart from it was night time, I think me and my sister slept all the way back.
My first time was when my parents and I moved from Vietnam to Canada but I was just a baby so I can't really remember anything. But my parents loooove to tell the story of how I was being a difficult passenger lol
As a 9 year old (I think), flew Braniff (HA!) from Kansas City to San Diego (with my grandparents and twin brother) to visit my aunt, uncle, and their new son.
nope, I was two weeks old
my first time was when I was going to Anaheim for Disneyland, it sorta felt like a roller coaster, but it was cool seeing the ground below since I had a window seat :)
I was in kindergarten when I was on a plane for the very first time. I went to Thailand with my family :)
I was 4. I went with my mother to Philadelphia. Big whoop, yeah?
@Romans_837@xanga - your grandparents had a twin brother? In common?
my first flight was from msp to dfw... i was 13 or 14. i loved it.
@artworkjanalee@xanga - no, my grandparents had twin grandsons. (me and my bro) = I am a twin.
I can't remember because I was only 1 years old.
On a trip with my parents.
@Romans_837@xanga - Sorry, it was just a silly attempt at a joke that made me laugh when I needed one.
My first plane ride was when I was 3 and my parents moved from romania to Canada. I don't remember anything at all lol
My first flight was from Detroit to Paris. It was pretty good except for the fact that i sat next to some random old lady that didn't speak English, or French. She wanted me to like translate for her. It was annoying.
I went to Greece, well Crete its a greek island. I can't remember how old I was, but I was just laughing, for some reason, I was with family.
Well, aside from my mom traveling while she was pregnant with me, my first plane ride was to Minnesota with my sister and without my parents. I was probably 5 or 6. I bawled the whole way there. haha
Florida. It was exciting... now it's just like the same thing over and over again.
I'll turn 16 next week and I've yet to fly on a plane :/ It's not because I'm scared to but because I've never had the chance. My family always takes roadtrips.
Hmm. I think I was about six years old. I was coming from Argentina to North America. It was fun. :D
My first time on a plane was when I was fourteen years old, when my dad, younger brother, and I flew to LA from Chicago-Midway on Southwest. It was not a fun time. I had not known that I would get airsick, and my dad had picked the cheapest flight imaginable so we had stops in Jackson MS, Houston TX, and El Paso TX. We spent a total of 8 1/2 hours on the plane and I felt queasy and miserable the whole time. Finally, my poor inner ears and stomach couldn't take it anymore, and I lost my lunch during a rough landing in El Paso. Heh. The rest of the cabin didn't like me too much after that.
I threw up again on the way back to Chicago when we had a stop in Kansas City. Needless to say, my first time flying was torture, and I've never grown to like it. But at least I get to joke that I left my mark on Texas!
First time I went on a plane, I didn't go anywhere. Was just a school excursion to go on board a passenger plane docked at an air force base. First actual flight on a plane was when I was about 14, and I had an ear infection. Of course, I didn't know this until I was in mid-air. I travelled from Queensland to South Australia.
I was about six or seven and listened to the Sesame Street song. I do remember getting sick because the food just sucks in Ireland. It didn't go much better the second time although I did lose weight over there. The first trip I read Little House On The Prarie and the second trip when I was about thirteen I was reading Stephen King.
I can remember very clearly my first time ever being on a plane :) It was also my first trip too :D I went to the North of VN with my parents when I was 8 years old, to visit our relatives there. I was pretty excited back then :D
How cool; Where were you from? :)
Oh man, I LOVE New York lol <3. I so wanna live there.
But yeah, my first flight was from California to Hawaii. Of course I can remember it though because I've only flown like three times (or six, counting return flights).
First time I went on a plane was when I was 16.
It was to Florida.
Terrifying experience. x__x
